When emotions attack,1
Do you evade?2
Do you fight them with all you've got3
Or just ignore?4
When thoughts keep you awake5
It must be something serious6
When they invade your daily routine7
It's critical. 8
Who can you tell?9
Anyone?10
Or do you keep it to yourself?11
At the break of dawn12
Will a friend call13
Or will they leave you hanging when you need them?14
Exhausten will catch up,15
But will you sleep 16
Or just toss and turn17
It's hard and confusing18
And the question still remains19
What should you do?
Author notes
Let's just say I've been in a very thoughtful mood today.

Funny you should post this today. I was just at a Bible study and we were discussing this very topic, what to do with your emotions and your words and how should you pray through them when times are tough. One person actually asked, do you contemplate the stressing problems or do you just end it and throw it away and say it is done? There's not always easy answers to life's problems.
Thanks for sharing this poem. It is enlightening to what I've already heard tonight. I guess this has helped me digest the message I heard a couple hours ago. It was quite a group discussion.
