{Part 1 ~ The Fall}1
I felt the wind in my hair as I stood upon the volcano and overlooking the scenery. My cousin Kiku just observes the bamboo Terrance we had just walk through. 2
“Well what now?” I ask as she sighs softly.3
“I don’t know…we have to find it, we have to get to the centre of the Earth, Raiku may be there” Kiku says as I nod. Raiku, he is Kiku’s boyfriend and he went missing a week ago saying something about the centre of the Earth, that’s why we are here at Tsurumi, which is located at Kyushu, Japan. 4
“Fine but he may have just got lost in the middle of the forest, you know” I mutter as Kiku suddenly gets to her feet.5
“No, I am sure he is there, we just have to look” Kiku says as I sigh once again.6
“Fine then but if something happens, your paying dearly my dear” I say as we both look around the barren area. It was nothing special as we look around to find nothing, not even a small alcove or cave. I give a sigh as I kick a rock.7
“Where now?” Kiku mutters as I look around and see the same thing as before, nothing.8
“I don’t know, it’s hopeless I tell you hope…” I start to say as the ground suddenly gives way from underneath me. I remember falling but I couldn’t remember if I screamed or not.9
“Mizuki…wait for me” Kiku says as I saw her suddenly appear above me screaming her lungs off.10
“We’re going to die” I yell suddenly as Kiku kept screaming. It felt like a millennium had passed as we continue to fall; we both stopped screaming after a while and just fell into the darkness.11
“You know this is boring” Kiku says as I felt something hit my exposed arms.12
“Yea…until something wet and cold hit me” I reply loudly as the next thing I know I hit something wet, like a body of water, I flail around as the dark blue abyss held me down. I continue to push even as my lungs starts to burn and my body begins to ache and complain of the force, I manage to push up to the surface. I felt a rush of cold air hit me as I surface and look around, my body to continue its melody of pain.13
“Kiku, where are you?” I call out into the darkness as I look around. I didn’t hear a reply or even a noise. I continue to look around until I felt something pull me under. I gasp as water suddenly fills my lungs as I flail around, only to see a smirking Kiku, who pushes herself to the surface closely followed by me. 14
“Hehehe got you” Kiku says as I growl at her and swam towards what looks like a shoreline. Kiku silently follows as we both manage to crawl onto the shore and flop onto the soft surface. “Sorry about that” Kiku says as I wave a hand at her and looked at the black roof.15
“We better get moving” I mutter as we both got up and looked around. My hand ran along the moist walls looking for any changes or even some form of entry way.16
“Found anything?” Kiku calls out as I sigh.17
“No, nothing…wait I may have” I say as I felt my some cool air hit my hand as it curled around a form of opening. I pull out a torch from my pocket, which seems to have survive the fall into the water and turned it on as I investigate the wall. There was a moderate sized hole in it.18
“I have to way that it’s about three feet wide” Kiku mutters as she stood closely next to me as we both peek into the hole. I place the torch between my teeth and heaved myself into the hole. “Wait, what are you doing Mizu?” Kiku asks as I sigh and point forward, signalling that I was going in. Kiku sighs and closely follows. 19
We quietly crawled through the hole as the moist surface below us started to become drier and oddly softer to touch. I look down with the torch in my mouth and noticed light emerald grass that sat under my hand. I look back up and continued to crawl forward, the next that happens, was quick. My hand landed on nothing as I tumbled forward down a soft slope and landed on my stomach with a thud on the ground below. Kiku followed suit as she landed on my back, she gave a groan as it slowly turned to a gasp, she gently shook my shoulders as I slowly look up to see the site which had awed Kiku.

Great, can't wait for the rest. For my story I just decided to put everything in one story. Since I'm the judge for this I just decided that it would be better if I just placed everything in one part rather than making three parts. Look out for it. I'm nearly done and then I will post it up here.

beginning: 5, language: 5, plot: 5, ending: 5, dialog: 5, characters: 5.
