I hear the alarm go off next door in my mum's room and I know it's time for another day of school. Dammit!3

Groaning, I roll over and pull the covers over my head, I was enjoying the soft breeze from the fan blowing my hair gently, cooling my neck and face.4

I hear the door to my bedroom open and I pretend to be asleep, maybe this will be one of those days mum says 'You can stay home', well, I hope so anyway.5

"Keegan time to wake up, school today." Mum says, nope, I was wrong this is the day she gets my ass out of bed.6

"No, I'm tired Mum, leave me alone."I whine and shrink deeper into my covers.7

"Get up, NOW!"She orders, leaving my room and of course she doesn't shut the door behind her, arghhh.8

"Can't, Kat's in the shower again. HOGGING ALL THE HOT WATER!!!" I yell so Kat can hear me. She does, because the shower turns off and I can hear her apologizing.9

Ha, yep that's what I thought. I raise from my bed and picking up my towel along the way to the bathroom.10

I push Kat out the way and walk into the bathroom closing the door behind me, ahh fuck I'm not ready for this.11

I step into the shower turning on the water, I whimper when the water hits me, it's cold, FUCK!12

"ONE NICE HOT SHOWER IN THE MORNING IS ALL I ASK KAT!!! FUCKING HELL!!!" I growl, quickly wetting my hair and jumping out.I turn the shower off.13

Well this is a bad start to a new day, please get better I think to myself.14

Walking down the hall I hear my mum at her computer preparing for her first day as a teacher, good for her.15

I smile and turn walking into my room, I walk over to my stereo and press play on the CD. Techno starts blaring out and I sigh, I adore this music. 16

Dropping my towel to the floor, I slide on my boxers and sit on the edge of my bed.17

I'm about 5'10 in height and I'm kinda the tallest out of all my friends. It's a bit sad, even the rest of the guys are shorter then me. Ah well, anyways.18

I'm a little depressed, and had to make you understand that fact, I have short white hair with deep purple streaks going through it. My fringe covers one of my smokey gray eyes, my hair makes me look as pale as the moon light against the ocean's night waves.19

I'm a bit of a lanky boy, but ay, lots of people are these days, or is it just me?20

Sometimes my friends are afraid to touch me for fear that if they do I might break, it's kind of annoying, more ofter then not when I want a hug.21

I hop of the bed and finish getting ready for school, man I hate this uniform.22

Our school uniform consists of a black button up shirt with short sleaves, a black coat and a red dragon stretching across the back, long black jeans.You can't forget the blood red tie to go with which again had a dragon on it but it's in black and only at the bottom,and, wait for it, DEATH SQUAD printed on the back of out coats and down the side of our pants.23

Ok I lied, I LOVE my school uniform, but only my gang at school get to wear it. For some reason at my school once you have found your friends that you know your gonna stick with you and your gang design a uniform, and this just so happens to be the one we designed, it's a way of showing how well you can work as a team, it's kind of cool.24

I walk back into the bathroom and apply my eyeliner(like Gaara from Naruto), when I'm done I take a step back, letting a smirk creep onto my face. Righto well looks like it's time for school.25

"Hurry up Keegan or you can walk to school!" Mum calls. I roll my eyes and pick up my black Mp3 player, sliding it into my pocket.26

I pick up my bag and run off down the hall, calling out, "YEAH YEAH, I"M COMING!!!"27

Jumping into the car's back seat I mumble my protest, this car is too small for me.28

"Kat you need to get a bigger car." I state and it makes her chuckle.29

"Ay, you could always walk, or shrink, you're the only one who has trouble with my car." she teases, grinning at me in her reflection mirror.30

I give her the evils and look out the window, it's not my fault I'm just a little bit tall, huff!31

Oooo tree , tree, tree, tree, grass, tree, dirt, tree, house. Man, I hate the drive to my sisters work. She doesn't even have the stereo up loud enough for me to hear it. IT SUCKS! Considering I'm A music freak. I can hardly last at school with no music, thank god I remembered my mp3.32

I remove my mp3 from my pocket turning it on, put my headphones in, music starts and the rest of the world is incoherent.33

Ahh bloody perfect, I close my eyes and bop my head along to my music. 34

When the car pulls up to my sisters workplace we all get out and change seats, mum driving with me in the passenger seat.35

She pulls out from the shop car park and pulls onto the main road, driving me to school before she has to got to her new job. 36

We pull up at the lights just before the turn off to my school, I look at the stearing wheel and study what's going on. I've always done that, ever since I was little I have watched the way people drive, it's a fascination of mine. 37

This time I can't focus, I'm too zoned in on my mum's shaky hands, I place my hand over her's and smile when she looks at me.38

"Mum stop worrying, you will be great and they will all love you." I say, trying to build up her courage before I have to get out of the car.39

"Why is it that every time I'm freaking out, you've always got it together?" she chuckles and I grin.40

"I don't know, maybe I'm just special." I laugh and she sighs, the light turns green and the car starts to move.41

Pulling into the school drive way I see my best mate Luke.
I get out the car and walk over to him and give him a hug.42

People think he and I are a gay couple, but we are just really good friends who like hugs and none of my other friends give good hugs apart from my ex.43

As we start walking down to our gangs hang out area near the science block, I notice Andy walking up to us and I link arms with Luke, I really don't want to deal with Andy's shit right now.44

Ever since that kiss she's been all over me with all this 'I love you' shit, I've heard it more times from her in the last 2 months then I have my whole life.45

She smiles her 'how can you resist me?' smile and I nearly laugh. Man, how am I gonna let her down easy when she is too wrapped up to notice I am not interested? Arghh!46

I turn and look down and Luke, he's so short it's almost cute, he glances up at me and winks, then whispers on my ear that he thinks Andy has a thing for me, and that I should tell her I don't want her. He knows whats going on because I don't keep any secrets from him.47

Giving him a small side smile, I quickly hug Andy and then try to walk but she tightens her grip on my waist and I can't move.48

I start squirming and ask her to let go and she doesn't. My eyes dart to Luke for help, pleading, he walks over and pushes Andy off.49

"Get your hands off my husband." he teases and hugs me tight from the back, we pretend we are married as a joke, we even have a ring, we hardly wear them though.50

Luke buries his face in between my shoulder blades and starts to purr, making me squirm, squealing trying to get out of his grip. Everyone starts cackling and giggling at me.51

After the silly 'hello's' are over we all drag our feet on the way to our bench everyone takes a seat except for me and Luke, is per normal.52

Luke pulls out his Mp3 player and puts one of the headphones in my ear, we stand there bopping along the a song called ' Bamboo Banger'. The first time Luke heard the title he couldn't help but say "owwie splinters". Everyone laughed and started talking about what they got up to.53

River, our gay girlfriend walks up to us, she's our tomboy butch bitch and we love her, she treats me and Luke like her own children. It's a little annoying sometimes but if anyone tries to mess with us, haha lets just say, the last didn't make it out the gates with out pretty red and blue lights flashing on the side of a van like vehical. River getting suspended for 6 weeks.54

"Hello my pets." she whispers to Luke and I then kisses us on the side of the cheek. Luke has this giggle he always does when River or I are with him.55

"Hey." I mumble and glance at Andy who blows me a kiss.56

River sees it and pretends to catch it and she shouts, " I love you too Andy!"57

Everyone laughs but Andy, she gets up picking her bag up and storming off.58

I sigh in relief, slumping against Luke. He bites my neck and I relax even further, which of course makes him giggle.59

River stands in front of me and shakes her head, hands on hips60

"You still haven't told the love bird that she is chasing the wrong cat have you?" She scoffs.61

I look at the ground and shake my head.62

"I don't know how to, she's been my mate since year eight, I used to have a thing for her but now it's too much." I mumble.63

"I will do it mate. I'm after that bird anyways, maybe this will lead her right into my arms." She chuckles, raising her eyebrows in a kinky manor.64

She run's off after Andy with a little kick in her step.65

I gasp, feeling Luke sink his fangs into my neck, gripping his arm.66

I start to relax as he take his fangs out and kisses the bite, it heals.67

Luke is a vampire, but he has no weakness the ones from the books have, like bursting into flames when he walks into the sun.68

"Luke, what did I tell you? Ask first." I whisper and I can feel him grin against my neck.69

"Why would I do that? I know you love the surprise of my sudden bite." he chuckles and lets go of me.70

"You just think your so good, don't you? Bloody hell mate, that was nice." I mumble and rub the fresh mark on my neck.71

"I'm sorry pussycat, next time I will make it hurt." He teases and I scowl, my eyes at him giving him a 'don't you fucking dare look'.72

He giggles and links arms with me, we start to walk around looking for River and Andy. Getting wolf whistles from all the girls and shocked looks from the boys.73

I'm not all that comfortable with all of it, but Luke is my best mate and I'm not letting mindless barbies and asshole small pricked boys with mighty egos get in the way.74

When we find Andy and River. Andy is crying, but the funny thing is , she has her tongue down Rivers throat. Luke and I loose it laughing and we quickly run off.75

With out looking where I'm going I get knock on my ass, I look up to see Kerk, this guy has been dying for the chance to kick my ass.76

He picks me up and slams me into the nearest wall causing me to whimper and Luke to growl. 77

"I see your lil 'Lez Mumma' aint here to save you this time Keegz." He growls and places his hand tightly on my neck.78

I whimper again louder and struggle to get words out but in the end I manage " back for more pup?"79

Ha, I know this man will be in pain very soon. I smirk and knee him in the groin, he falls to the ground groaning.80

I dance around cheering, " OOOO DOWN FOR THE COUNT!!!"81

Luke grabs my hand and pulls me away, he knows I love a good punch up.82

"Aww, come on Luke it's been forever since my last fight." I whine, he shrugs and tightens his grip still pulling. 83

"One more?" I plead and he rolls his eyes letting me go. I grin and we walk back to the groaning Kerk.84

"You fucking pussy, running away after taking a man down the only way you know how." He gasps.85

I crouch down and whisper in his ear " I was letting you off easy, but I really don't like you very much."86

He glances up at me and I smirk, I tap his cheek and tell him to get up.87

When he gains his balance he takes a swing at me, I don't try and dodge it, he gets me on the right cheek.88

I chuckle and purr " poor puppy is going to get beaten by a kitty, haha and how does that make you feel?"89

He takes another swing at me but I duck and trip him, he falls to the ground and I pounce on him, laying fist after fist into his face.90

In the end Luke has to pull me off of Kerk, struggling to get back at Kerk.91

"KEEGZ THAT'S ENOUGH ALREADY!!!" he squeaks as I nearly hit him in all my fun.92

"You're right, I'm sorry." I whisper and straighten myself up.
He starts to cry and I bring him into a hug.93

"Please don't cry Luke, I love ya mate. Come on, I'll buy yah chocolate."I lure him.94

"Promise?" he questions, looking up at me with tear stained cheeks.95

"A whole box mate." I promise and he grins. 96

He has a VERY big sweet tooth, but he never gets fat.97

What can I say, he's my little energizer.98
