Random Scenario Vol 1.4 ~ Zombie Crisis

Day 2 ~ New Playground1

The sounds of birds chirping woke me up as I growl incoherently and try to roll over, only to hit my head on the corner of the Drink fridge. The pain was dull but the fact that I woke up somewhere other than my room, I look around frantically trying to figure out where I was. The sound of beeping brought me out the frenzy as I search for its source. The PSP sat at the bottom of my cat bag; I quickly turned it on to find a new message.2

(Dear pure citizens of NSW,
Today is a gloomier day than usual. There is a high chance of being decimated off the face of Australia, in simple terms; you all might get wiped out. This bomb is most likely getting rid of the infected people but there is a chance that healthy people may get eliminated too. 3

There is a place in every area that is a refuge that was built up for this situation and therefore needs to be reached within two weeks. Every area has this refuge as mentioned before; this information will be supplied to certain people within an area. Find them and find your refuge.4

I continue to start at the message in curiosity, wondering who is going to receive this classified information. I turn off the message system and slid the PSP into my pocket and glance around the room.6

“Seriously I need to find someone to talk to” I mutter as I slowly stuff variety of foods and drinks into my back pack, until I had no room left. “Looks like I am going to find a body bag for this” I mutter as I grab my Wakizashi and left the rest of the items in the corner. I fill up my cat bag with a drink, Torch, mobile and some items out of the first aid kit, just in case. I slowly crept out the room and locked the door. The silent hall barely filtered with light loomed ahead as I crept down the corridor. 7

The sounds of my own footsteps slightly startled me as I continue to walk into a variety of wards trying to find a bag of some sort. I walked into the only unlocked room within this first corridor which took me to the more private rooms, I crept around opening, well trying to open them, until one finally opened after an hour of trying to find an open room.8

The window was wide open as natural light streamed in as I found what I was looking for, for the last boring hour, a body bag. I carefully checked it and toss it over my shoulder, until the sound of breaking glass reached my ears. I slowly walk over to the window to see a slight movement. I felt my heart jump in fear, with a dash of hope. 9

That’s when I heard that cursed moaning. I turn and look to see someone with dull eyes and half their face falling off, staring at me as I jumped back in fear. This was the first time I felt like screaming but my voice refused to work, like I was paralysed to the spot. Then a smash was heard as a small object hurtled straight at the person, taking their head in the process. I couldn’t help but laugh as the body felt to the floor with a thud as I turn and look out the window.10

“Who the hell hit that dam ball?! You could have killed me you bastards” I suddenly yell out at no one in particular. I give a huff as I kick the rest of the glass out of its frame. “Geez, I could have died two ways just then” I mutter as the glass fell to the ground with a dull clang. I sigh and walk back to the cafeteria and start storing all sorts of items into the body bag, including a set of scalpels, half a dozen first aid kits and an axe.11

“You can never go wrong with an axe” I mutter as I pull out the PSP and sat on a pile of stuffed animals in the corner. Not many people were on MSN but at least Sai was there.12

Hahaha ah well you will find someone, so take care, I have to have a shower.]17

Sai signed out not long after that as I sigh and chew on a blue bear and watch some people sign on and off for the next ten minutes. The sounds of breaking glass stopped before long as I smile at the silence, it was welcoming since it can help me hear for any sound. I glance down at my PSP to see that Ichigo had signed in.18

Ichigo *makes grabby gestures* 19

Ichigo says:
Invidia…where are you? I was so worried about you20

Invi says:
I’m at the hospital and some bastard kept hitting golf balls at the windows and it scared me T__T21

Ichigo says:

Invi says:
What’s wrong?23

Ichigo says:
That bastard happens to be me24

Invi says:

Ichigo says:
Stay where you are, I’ll come and find you]26

Ichigo suddenly signed off as I looked at the PSP in disbelief. Ichigo had nearly killed me. I turn the PSP and sat in the corner, eyeing off the wheel chair with an ulterior motive in mind.
