"Ms. Sanders..." 1
"Go away!" shouted Jess.2
"I don't mean to bother you..." 3
"Well then leave. Why are you here?!"4
"I am here to make an assessment..."5
"Listen, I don't need a shrink to tell me that everyone thinks I"m crazy. What I need is for you to understand that I didn't do anything! I was home. It was Jenn!" 6
"Where is Jenn?" 7
"She's not here... I tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen..."8
"Ms. Sanders, please, listen while I explain things to you." 9
"No! I want to go! I don't want to listen to you talk like you know everything!"10
"You can go after I have said what I want to." Jess slumped in her chair, resigned.11
"Traces of blood were on your clothes, skin, shoes. Witnesses put you at the scene. They'll say that you left with the victim. You don't have an alibi, besides Jenn who won't testify for you. The only thing we don't have is the murder weapon!"12
"You're wrong! Jenn will testify!" 13
"No, she won't."14
"Of course she will, she's my friend!"15
"What makes you think that a figment of your imagination will testify for you!?!" she shouted.16
"Imagination... What are you... I get it! You just want me to think she isn't real so that you... so you can... can... get me to say I did it."17
"What if you did?" 18
"BUT I DIDN'T!!"19
The psychiatrist sighed, "Tell me, Ms. Sanders, what does Jenn look like?" 20
"She's got long, wavy hair that's a dirty blond sort of color. Blue eyes. I always wanted eyes like that." 21
"Has she ever spoken with your parents?"22
"Well she's really shy and she does a lot of things with her parents, so no."23
"Have any of your other friends talked with her?"24
"No, they all think I'm weird." 25
"Tell me, when was the last time you saw Ceran Marshall?" 26
"I saw him just a few days ago. On Tuesday." 27
"The day he was killed." Jess nodded, "Tell me, what were your feelings toward Ceran?" 28
"I liked him... he was nice. Not like those other doofus boys at school. Jenn didn't like him much, thought he was full of himself. I thought he ought to be, he was charming, funny, and he did good in school too. Jenn thought I should just forget about him: he was always mean to her."29
"How so?"30
"He always ignored her. That was the one thing I didn't like about him... Always acting like she wasn't there."31
"Did that dislike transform into the rage that you were in when you killed him?"32
"I told you! I didn't kill him!" 33
The doctor lost her composure again, "Well if you didn't then who did!?!"34
"I told Jenn not to do it!" whimpered Jess, rocking in her chair, "She wouldn't listen!" 35
"And then what did you do?" 36
"She dragged us from the restaurant to the alley. Ceran was scared, she frightened him. He called to me. I told her not to. She gave me the gun... and then... and then I don't remember." said Jess defiantly. 37
"And then you killed him." 38
Jess didn't bother to tell the doctor to listen to what she was saying. She ran her fingers through her long hair, "Oh my... Jenn gave me the gun.... then she... disappeared in front of my eyes.... How is that possible? Click. Bang. He knelt. He looked like he was going to propose." she chuckled slightly, "Then... he looked down... it was like a rose growing on his chest. You know? One of those fast-forward movies of a flower growing. He fell forward and... said he loved me. I shouted for Jenn... as I held him tightly. He brushed my hair back. 'Kiss me' he said. So I did.... Then I stood up, he was there on the pavement. His hand reaching up to me... the gun fell from... my... Oh my. I killed Ceran." She broke down crying. 39
The doctor took out a phone, "You were right D. Multi-personality or schizophrenia. Can't tell yet. What? She's in fucking hysterics! Fine, fine. I'll talk to you later.40
Jess rocked in her chair and shouted, "CERAN!!!" The doctor turned and hung up the phone, Jess shrunk back down into a ball, "I want to be with you. I love you." 41
Jess looked at the doctor then drew the murder weapon out of her pocket. 42
"History repeats itself." she said. 43
Click. Bang.

I liked this...cept the ending was kinda meh.
Too cliche and unrealistic, how she snuck a gun into the shrink's office. That wouldn't ever happen. But other than that, a very intriguing convo.

I kinda stole this idea from law and order. Theirs wasthat the person was a witness not a killer. The whole idea about the gun is that the shrink went to jess house not that they were in an office or anything.
Thanks for reading!
