Erin's Dream

'The woods.
 1

That was Erin's first thought, as she smelt the wildflowers and fresh air around her. Birds sang above her, their sweetness making her smile. The air was warm, lit up by the golden sunshine that smiled down at the landscape below it.2

She suddenly heard voices. She got up, slowly, and walked towards the sounds. In front of her was a small hut, and....yes, there was Conner!3

Happily, she began to skip towards him, smiling warmly. He held out his arms toward her. As she got closer, she thought she could see his fangs, but that didn't scare her. She began to slow down as she saw blood dripping from his chin. She stopped, but he continued smiling, holding his arms out.4

She shook her head, telling herself it was silly to think anything bad of Conner. But then, as she stepped forward, he rose up, transforming into a huge black wolf, twice the size of her. He roared, his fangs dripping with saliva and blood, his eyes burning away to brilliant silver.5

Erin began to run away, trying to scream, but she couldn't. Her throat felt full of cotton wool, and it was stopping her making any sound! Running was hard too. It took all her strength to move her feet even a little.6

She could hear him behind her! Grunting, snuffling, and howling to the sky above. As she looked up, she saw the warm, sunlit sky had given way to a moonlit, dark midnight sky, cast over with clouds. Shivering, she tried to run faster, but he caught her!7

She shook with fear as she felt his warm, furry arms gripping her, then realised-he wasn't hurting her! He was.....embracing her.....nuzzling into her neck, pulling her against him....8

Erin tried to turn around, but found she was unable, so she looked down instead.9

"Aaaaaaggh!" Her scream pierced even her own ears, but still she did not wake up.10

Conner's arms were almost human again, but her own.......Her own arms were covered in soft brown fur, her hands ending in clawed curves.......'11

Erin woke up, dripping in cold sweat. She put her face in her hands, and sighing. A long, shivering sigh that nearly made her cry. Still shaking, she looked across at the bed where Conner lay, peacefully asleep.12

What did it mean? Erin wondered, as she tried to settle down again and sleep.......13

Um... question... did Erin get back with Conner?

I must have missed the end of Conner, so can you direct me to the story, please?

Really awesome imagery from the very beginning O.o Because I've read some of this story, I understand where you're coming from. My interpretation of this dream is that she loves him but is scared of what he is. At the same time, she doesn't want to lose herself in... this...?

Anyways, this is very good. No grammar/spelling mistakes that I noticed. Great work; thanks for entering and goodluck in my contest ^^
