A Poem.

O, lit-up world!
spinning, undulating streaks of life
twirled across a sprawling sea.1

O, lit-up world!
a girl in a pretty pink dress
with the cliff edge before her
is calling to you.2

O, lit-up world!
pinpricks of fate and love
are dotting the skin of the planet.
Has this been here all along?3

O, lit-up world!
How long have you been waiting for me
to find you?
And if I've missed this for so long
What else have I missed?4

O, lit-up world!
you are needed elsewhere,
my dearest friend.
I will not forget you.
Go, and spread your gospel
of love and man and light.

Author notes

I'm afraid I'm not quite sure what this means. Maybe nothing? It just wanted to get out on the page.

    Hurrah.
    I like this poem.
    Very, very much.
I don't quite no what it means either,
but, I sort of get a image in my mind.
    Nice job.
    Keep it up.
