Bucket List: a psychologically analytical examination of hopeless hopes and dreams through the writing of a list of hoped for experiences as well as an exceptionally long title that increases in...

Item number one: I want to stand in a forest. Not just any forest, but the perfect forest, in the middle of fall. I want to feel the wind rush past the trees and wrap itself around me. I want to see the falling goldens and reds and yellows of leaves as they make their final flight to the earth, to join their fallen comrades. I just want to stand there as it happens around me. This would be best with a full string quartet to soundtrack it.1

Item number two: I want to create a work of actual art. I want to learn how and proceed to make something beautiful. I want to put brush or charcoal or graphite to paper and make my thoughts and emotions come to life. I want to make something. It doesn't have to be timeless, but I want people to look and know that one time, a man poured heart and soul into that thought that was brought to life before them.2

Item number three: i want to invent a word. not just make something up, but actually create a legitimate word that is recognized and accepted and hopefully put in a reputable dictionary.3

Item number three: i want to finish writing a series of letters for someone who will not be alive when i die. a great, great, grandchild maybe, or the next child born in my family after my death. i want to leave a piece of myself, my thoughts and opinions, for someone who will never know me. not because i think i'm amazing and that person should know about me, but because it's like talking to someone after i'm dead, which is pretty trippy.4

Item number four: That one dream, where i kick ass, end up with the beautiful perfect woman next to me as i floor my car down that rainy road? make it come true.5

Item number five: Find someone who smiles just because i'm there, then try and keep her smiling forever.6

Item number six: Be in the kind of steadfast love that William and Miriam are in in "the Black Rose." a kind of love people will sing songs of and write about for centuries to come.7

Item number seven: Find a someone who enjoys these things like i do:
-driving in the rain with classical music.
-hiking in the snow.
-staring for hours at the stars, the sky, and the earth, like i've never seen it before.
-Good Jazz.8

Item number eight: take the woman i love on a tour of the amazing places i've found. watch a shuttle launch in the dead of night at Cape Canaveral. wade in the crystal waters of Bennet Springs. Find the oasis on the plains, again, and show her the most amazing candlelit dinner ever in the most unexpected place.9

Item number nine: when my boss gives me a stupid or pointless order, flip him the bird, turn around and walk out without speaking, thereby reminding him that his trivial power exists only as long as people willingly submit to it.10

Item Number ten: stand up for someone who can't stand for themselves. and stand tall for them, because no one else will.11

Item number eleven: write a story that brings tears to someone's eyes. that makes them think "Oh my God, i can't believe this! it's beautiful!"12

Item number twelve: win this contest. (MWAHAHAHAHA! now if i don't finish this, it's on YOU! not ME!) (i call it entrapment.)13

item thirteen: stand in front of a crowd, and move them with my words. catalize their actions through my spoken thoughts. draw them to action like a director draws a symphony from a group of disconnected musicians. light a fire in their hearts and minds, drive them to something.14

Item number fourteen: finish a story. i mean actually finish. i've never done that before. i've started God only know how many, but i've yet to really finish one. 15

Item number fifteen: Apologize to sabrina. i'll keep the details of this one to myself...16

Item number sixteen: i call this the mystery item. if i told you, i'd have to follow yo around for the rest of your life shouting so that no one could hear if you told them. all i can tell you is that it involves a mirror, a mini-bat, a lemur, and a fire hose.17

Item number seventeen: alright, i want a top hat, a tux, and a cane. then i'm going to build a platform under one of the giant screens in Time's Square. then i'm going to put on bugs bunny, and we'll do the classic dance. comprende?

You got all serious. I wish I was just as serious. I like the writing letters to someone who will not meet you when you die.
