No Need to Worry Honey

It was a long day and Jack was getting impatient. "Ugh! Will they hurry up already?" The rest of the group ran out of the house with a body bag.  "Go!" they screamed and threw the body in the car.  They turned sharply around the corner and started slowing to a moderate speed.  The one in the black took off his mask and unzipped the bag.  A small eight year old appeared from the  bag. "Is she still alive?"said one not so worried. "Yes, yes, yes...she wasn't in there long. She made our job so much easier by fainting!" they all laughed hysterically. Finally they reached the rundown home. Quickly they grabbed the child from the car. Lucky for them, they had a garage so no one would get too suspicious.1

 They opened the door and Jack's son said wildly and hysterically, "Is she dead? I...is she okay? Di...did you get caught? It's dayli..." "Shut-up boy! We won't get caught, that is, if you keep your m mouth shut! Now your job is to...HM...take her out of the bag and make her look like she was sleeping. Yeah, sleeping! Then get a needle and put useless liquid in it. Get a big syringe though! Put it in diagonally and put a tiny rock coated all the way through with poison. Strong poison. Make sure you can not see the rock. Very important! Then leave the rest to me! Oh, and go home, tell your mother I was... at the rock gym. And, traffic was horrendous. Got it? Now go!" Daniel jumped and leaped to his job. With no effort at all he did it miraculously. He was a doctor!2

 When Daniel left, Jack made sure the girl knew her story she was told to say. She would say she was with her friends but it was last minute so couldn't do anything about it. She was dropped off and the plan was a huge success. The boys disposed of any evidence and went to party.3

 Later that night when he got home, and Samantha went up to him and held him tightly. "'Oh Sammy. What's wrong?" he said softly. "'Oh nothing. Worried about Daniel I guess. He said you went to the rock gym. But he sounded guilty of something." she said almost crying. "Shh...it's okay. There is no need to worry." he kissed her softly." Let's go to sleep. I'm all sore from the rock gym and you're unbearably upset. It'd be best." She nodded. The night was quiet at their house but very miserable other places but there.4

 "No! Mom, I wouldn't lie! Please! Nothing happened. 'Oh really, Mother!" she fell to her knees sobbing. She thought about what happened that day. Was she somehow hypnotized into something? "Honey, it's not that. It's only, the neighbors said something in our neighborhood happened this afternoon. I thought, maybe, you had something to do with it. You were gone without a word. It was very disa... are you okay Cherise? Bob! Call 911! Something is happening to our daughter!" Cherise screamed in pain and collapsed to the ground. Her mother gasped, "Poison!' She fell to her knees and sobbed on Cherise's body. She yelped out. "It's too late now, she's...gone."5

 Down like a brick. Her body was as stiff as a stone.  It was all over the news. Breaking headlines, " Girl dies mysteriously" Jack turned on the television set and his plan was going just how it need to. One word described it, "Perfect. They'll never figure out this case. Sure it's not perfect. But good enough for the cops to be baffled. No clues left behind will make it just that much harder." Jack said thinking out loud. "What's that honey? 'Oh my goodness! A child died. That's too bad. Wait! Don't we know that family?" Samantha questioned. "Uhh... I don't believe so. Not that I can remember." Jack panicked and told Samantha he'd go take a shower. A nice cold shower would do the trick.6

 That night Jack went to Bob and Sue's house. He made sure that Bob was gone. He knocked on the door boldly. She opened it slowly and she fell in his arms almost perfectly. She felt lonely and Cherise's spirit. "Hello, your high school sweetie. Saw you a couple of years ago." he said hopingly. "Of course, Jack! But you must've heard the news. My daughter was m...murdered by poison I suppose."7

 "Why do you suppose?" 8

 "Well, come in, blood was falling from her mouth. Only slightly though. It had to be around those lines."9

 "Interesting. What I mean is, I'm sorry for your loss. I'm also sorry for something else."10

 "Hmm...? There's nothing, absolutely NOTHING, to be sorry for! I haven't seen you in years. Don't be ridiculous!"11

 "'Oh yes that IS true but... I bet you're wondering who killed Cherise."12

 "How...how do you know her name? And why do you keep looking at me that way?"13

 "I killed Little Cherise! Poison of course, a classic. And you were right! I was very surprised by you. Of all people! But I must ask you! Did you find any bruises? Well, I should guess it was difficult for my son to do this."14

 " You're own son? Why do you sound so excited? And WHY? Cherise has NOTHING to do with our love in high school!"15

 "I've wanted you back since you  broke my heart. I wanted to break yours too but I'd rather you be my wife."16

 "Don't you understand? You DID break mine!"17

Cautioningly she backs up and she shudders in terror. "But you HAVE a wife!" "Don't you think I know that? This was hard for me. Oh yes,I love her dearly. I truly do! But I WANT YOU instead of...pshh...her."18

He backed her into the corner and thus, tries to get his hands all over her. "Wha... What ARE you doing? Stop, Please." she says sobbing to the floor.19

 He laughed unconsciously. He pressed his lips hard on hers. 20

She struggles to escape to but he's too strong for her. Bob rushes through the door in shock. "Bob! Thank GOD! Help me! He's hurting me, help!" Bob grabs Jack and flings him to the ground. "Get off my wife!"21

Jack banged his head on the coffee table and he sinks to the floor. Sue crawls to the phone and calls 911. 22

 "Help! A man is here trying to molest me! And he's the one who killed  my daughter." She said gasping for air.23

 "Slow down ma'am! Okay now breath and repeat yourself please."24

 "No! I have not time! Just send someone over to help me! My husband got home just in time so I am safe for now!"25

 "Good, good. Now get somewhere safe. Is he unconscious?"26

 "Yes he is."27

 "Okay now, remember, try and keep low"28

 "Okay, I think they're here already!"29

She slammed the phone and rushed the door. The cops break down the door and grab Jack. He wakes up and is struggling. They knock him out and a cop greets them. "Okay ma'am, sir. You don't need to worry about him until court. Then he'll most likely be sent to an asylum to get well then straight to jail." he sounded confident.30

 Bob rushed to Sue's side and hoped for the best to occur. They went to court like planned and the judge decided to give Jack the reasoning to the doubt to send him to an asylum. Samantha was saddened deeply. She was forced to live alone. For the other people who helped make the murder happen, they moved to another state right away. It was the plan from the start. Daniel claimed that he had a better job in a whole different country. Samantha is even lonelier now.31

 Years later, Samantha got lung cancer. She died awfully quickly though.  And for the cops, they were still wondering why Jack confessed himself. Jack wouldn't say anything in court. Samantha never said he confessed to her. It was proved he killed Cherise but why? Only we know the answer to these questions. The world is forced to live that much more miserable. Sue and Bob turned out fine. But, they keep a sharp eyes out for another freak to make things worse. Who knows, maybe another ex will pop up.32
