Time to Die

Slipping one too many pills
Tired of all the doctor bills
This soul is dead and fried
Life is not worth living for I tried1

Let me go far from here
No one wil even cry a tear
Time has come for me to go
And death had best not be slow2

Send me back to my grave
For life is not what I crave
Slipping once more today
Wondering what to say3

Let me close my eyes and sleep
There will be no noise not even a peep
Hurt and pain cursing through my veins
When life's no good it surely rains4

Just don't try to read this poem
For nothing here will make sense
One like me can not be sad
No matter what, no matter what 5

Author notes

just something i wanted to remember...
no need to commit on it...

Wow, such power in those words. I know you said no need to comment but can't help but say very well done. I am glad that you have not deprived the world of your talent by taking the time to die.
