Delicious Sacrifice

I dug my nails deep into my victim's flesh. I always knew this would happen. I always knew I would do it.1

Her screams were like music to my ears. She cringed in fear as I stroked her throat with my figertips. As she whimpered, I smirked.2

My mouth watered at the sight of the blood dripping down the white skin of her exposed stomach. And I knelt down beside her, licking the blood with my outstretched tongue. Her quivering increased as my forked tongue made contact with her skin.3

An image flashed in my mind. When I was younger I had been picked on. And one day I stood up to the bully. He sliced my tongue as punishment. And from that day forth, I knew that I would become a killer.4

My victim scrambled to her feet while I was distracted. I quickly snapped out of my trance and dashed after her. "You only think you can get away, my pretty." My voice was rough, harsh from so long without a word.5

She ran and hid in a dark corner, trying to stay calm and praying that I wouldn't find her. But I knew her location. I could hear her breathing.6

I grabbed her from behind and she let out another scream. I decided that I was done playing games. I reached my hand around her neck and sliced her throat with my claws.7

I licked the blood and sucked her body dry. An innocent child dead. Nineteen years is not nearly long enough to live a good life. But she was my sacrifice. My delicious sacrifice.8

Police sirens rang in my ears. I wiped the blood from my lips and escaped before I was noticed. Another crime committed. Another debt paid.
