Part 1: The Basics4
1. What is your full name?
Ashlee Amberleigh McKay5
2. Where and when were you born?
Burning Dale Hospital, March 5, 19926
3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)7
♥My mom is Maya Amberleigh McKay née Delaney, deceased 3 years ago. She’s a sweetheart, and although she was very young when she had me, she’s taken care of me with only what can only be true love. She’s a very strong and determined person, always willing to help out and keep going. She took care of a baby while still urging to continue with her schoolwork. She loved everyone and everything ‘til the day the drunk driver took her life away...8
♥ My dad is Christoph Jovannie McKay. He’s really idiosyncratic, but he’s a good father. And I don’t care what anyone thinks, you can’t judge him as a 34 year old taking care of his 16 year old daughter when most experienced parents are treating their children like scum. I really love my dad more than anything; after all, he’s nice, supportive, protective and smart. He works as a computer technician and freelance writer and sometimes pitches in some of his photography, so he’s basically home most of the time actually. Honestly, he’s a little geeky and over-protective, but I love him anyway.9
♥ My step-mother, Joanne Melanie Featherstone is probably the best thing that could have happened after my mother’s passing. Originally, when we moved to Clovershire she started to work as our helper and then somehow, she eventually married by father and we became a new family. She’s really lovable and caring and works hard. I’m glad to have her in my life. It’s the type of motherly figure I needed (my father’s already weird enough).10
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?11
Nope, I’m an only child. I’d love to have a baby brother, but I guess my father wants to hold it off for a while longer.12
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.13
I just moved into Clovershire with my dad. It’s a small village which branches off into several small ‘communities’ in the depths of the surrounding forests. It’s really quaint, albeit being surrounded by so much trees gets a little...creepy? Generally, the whole nature thing definitely helped me and my father settle down from the hectic city life. It’s just what he needed to calm him and focus on his writing. The neighbours, well, the ones from the ‘other’ dimension are quite friendly (always popping up at random times I might add) and the people in this particular life frame are quite friendly and family-oriented. 14
6. What is your occupation?15
I’m a student at Clovershire Academy for the Gifted and Talented in Sorcery Arts, and a waitress at Dairy King.16
7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.17
Well...I’m 5’5” and weigh 110lbs. I’m Japeneese and Espanian, I have big grayish-blue eyes, waist-length, raven hair (which is usually wavy) and pale skin. My face is round, maybe even plump, but my figure is quite skinny, but neat. I don’t think there’s anything so distinguishing about my fashion sense. I wear a lot of sweaters and jeans and sometimes spaghetti straps and jeans skirts. You’d never see me in a dress (unless my dad sneaks some old photos in your way). I don’t have any tattoos, and there’s one piercing on each of my ears. I have a birthmark on my thigh which my dad says is shaped like George Shrub, but it looks more like a wrinkly potato...18
8. To which social class do you belong?
I guess...middle class? Yeah, that seems right. Although, we used to be on the lower end of the financial scale.19
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
Apart from an allergy to mango, I’m as healthy as a horse (although, I’m not the most agile and muscular person). I suck at sports.20
10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Left-handed.21
11. What does your voice sound like?
Miranda Crosgrove maybe? [From Drake and Josh and iCarly] But with a higher tone I guess. I don’t know, it’s feminine, elegant and sometimes sounds like a mouse.22
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
“Um...” Yeah, I use that a lot.23
13. What do you have in your pockets?
A couple coins, lint and coupons to some fast-food restaurants.24
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I have the annoying habit of saying ‘um,’ too much, blushing and doing something with my fingers, like tapping a surface or pinching myself.

Part 2: Growing Up26
15. How would you describe your childhood in general?
Innocent and full of bliss. I miss those days.27
16. What is your earliest memory?
Rolling around in the autumn leaves with my mum laughing as dad took pictures of us.28
17. How much schooling have you had?
Preschool, basic school, primary school and now I’m in 5th form at high school.29
18. Did you enjoy school?
Yes, actually. I liked learning new things, and it all helps me with my writing too, even Math! I like knowing more about the world.30
19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?
I guess from school and my dad. My dad’s never been too settled on his choice of leisure activities and every new thing he learns he teaches it to me.31
20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.32
My role model was and still is my mom. Even though she had me at 17 years old, she took care of me much better than people expected. Even through the hard times she’s remained persistent, kept on loving when hate was strong and stood up for herself. I’d like to be as bold and dedicated as her.33
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?34
Well, my mom and dad were no problem. We got along perfectly. As for my aunt, not too well, she’s always had some sort of resentment towards my parents, especially my dad. I never really knew my grandparents (but they’re still alive, except grandmother on Ma’s side), so I can’t say much about them. Generally I got along well with everyone.35
22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a photographer and artist like my dad, definitely. I remember holding the camera with my small chubby hands and taking pictures of my feet and my thumb.36
23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?
I loved taking pictures, and I still do. I also enjoyed playing in the park with my mum and drawing. As I grew older I started to like reading and writing more.37
24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?
I guess I could say cuteness and cheerfulness. I was smiling 99% of the time, helpful and playful.38
25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like?39
I wasn’t really popular but I had my share of friends. My best friends were Tawny Hayden (TH), René and Sky. TH’s the...Let’s say normal one of the group, she can be quite overly excited and hyperactive but is a cool summer breeze compared to the two nutcases René and Sky. Rens the supposedly gay guy-friend I have. He’s very optimistic and brings fun wherever he goes. Sky is the really crazy one, quite temperamental, but sweet nonetheless.40
26. When and with whom was your first kiss?
It wasn’t intentional. Some dudes thought it would be funny to pay their friend to kiss me on the playground during recess. Luckily I moved my head and he only got my cheek...That was in the first grade, when they still believed girls had cooties.41
27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity?
That’s...really personal. But I guess I have to tell you. I lost my virginity some months ago...I was raped by my classmate and his friends...It’s the biggest regret of my life.42
28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.43
I’m pretty sure I’m human, but I’m a clairvoyant. I can also see into another dimension. These occurrences started a few days after I moved into Clovershire. At first I just saw these things like I’d see a normal human, but then I started seeing things that were...Not so human, and transparent like ghosts. I certainly don’t know how the heck I got these powers, maybe it’s just kismet.
________________________________________44
Part 3: Past Influences 45
29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?
♥Gaining these powers, seriously, they’ve changed my life completely and I don’t know what would happen if I hadn’t gotten them.46
30. Who has had the most influence on you?
♥My dad, he’s all about making sure my future turns out well. I don’t know where or who I’d be without him standing by my side, teaching me and guiding me in the right way.47
31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
♥ Hm, I guess that would be...I don’t know, saving Erth AND the second dimension? Either that or graduation.48
32. What is your greatest regret?
...Being raped...49
33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?
Hm, I’m a usual goody-too-shoe actually. So I guess the most evil would be taking part in this war; I hate fighting.50
34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind?
☻ Nope, I’m like an angel!51
35. When was the time you were the most frightened?
Again, I’ll make note of this: When I was raped.52
36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
Wow, where to start? Well, I guess when that boy in first grade kissed me. It was in front of the whole basic school! (Well, that’s how the playground seemed anyway).53
37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?54
I could say stop my mother from going on that trip which ended her life...But everything happens for a reason, and it’s all lead up to a point in your life where you have the power to change the outcome of your future, so I wouldn’t change anything. 55
38. What is your best memory?
Playing with my mum in the park.56
39. What is your worst memory?
Finding out my mother had died.57
________________________________________58
Part 4: Beliefs and Opinions59
40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?
A little bit of both actually, but I guess I’ll go with pessimistic. I need to get out of that habit.60
41. What is your greatest fear?
Losing my dad.61
42. What are your religious views?
My dad’s a Christian, but he allows me to choose my own religious path. I believe in different faiths and practices, mostly Buddha, Christian and Wicca (Yeah, a lot of contradictions there).62
43. What are your political views?
I’m not an avid supporter of politics. I barely listen to anything that’s going on with it.63
44. What are your views on sex?
Well, thanks to my dad, I’ve known enough to stay away from sex until after marriage (a little bit too much}. 64
45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?65
I don’t know if I could be able to kill. I don’t know if I’ll actually experience that adrenaline rush when I have to protect someone at all costs. I find it unacceptable, some people get away too easy by dying. Call me sadistic, but making them suffer in this life sounds better.66
46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?
So many evil things, so little time. How about torturing children?67
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
I’m almost too big of a supporter of that.68
48. What do you believe makes a successful life?
Optimism, kindness and determination.69
49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?
I don’t think I have much to hide, so I’d consider myself honest with my thoughts and feelings. At times I feel scared to admit something, but it eventually comes about.70
50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?
Nope.71
51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it?72
Kill, especially abortion. I don’t think ‘disposing of’ a fetus is right. That could be a future leader, doctor, and philanthropist. Whether you think you can afford to take care of a child (or more), I don’t think it should be done. You need to learn from your mistakes and suffer the consequences.73
52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?74
I would die for anybody I love, my dad, Joanne, Noah, etcetera. That’s too much beauty in the world to just let it slip from your hands.
________________________________________75
Part 5: Relationships With Others76
53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?77
Generally, I treat others fine; daresay in a higher authority than me. I have a habit of being a footstool to anyone. I don’t socialize well, but when I do I treat everyone acceptably. My treatment towards people change a little overtime. If they’re really close to me I can share my secrets and whatnot. 78
54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?79
You might think I’d put my father or mother here, but no. I have a lot of important people in my life and I can’t choose one over the other.80
55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?
Respect; I respect everybody, but if I had to choose I’d say my dad. Basically because he has enough respect towards me, and everyone else. I’m basically like the shadow in his footsteps. I want to fill his footprints with greatness and replace every mistake with a blessing.81
56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people.82
These (apart from my other family members; except Hannah, my young aunt) are my best friends.83
♥Noah De Ashmael – Weird fellow from another dimension. He’s one of my best friends. He’s a very wise person, caring, loving and tender. He’s very supportive to all of us. Whatever he says has some kind of deep meaning behind it. He’s always willing to watch out for people, and knows just how to treat others. He’s cool, laid-back and comforting.84
♥Hannah Delaney – Like my complete opposite, she’s loud, wild, talkative and spontaneous. She loves parties, boys, dancing and stuff like that. I like her because she’s funny and supportive, and does anything she can to keep my happy. Surprisingly, she never gets overbearing, she keeps the fun just right.85
♥Lucas Longman a.k.a ‘Stretch’ – Now he can be overbearing, in size and personality. He’s really friendly though, nice and optimistic. He’s truly like a big teddy bear and knows how to keep us happy. He’s a really funny guy and acts like a big brother to me.86
♥David D’Angel – The sweetest guy I’ve ever met. His surname certainly fits him. Although seemingly dark and eerie, he has a certain thing about him; a charm you’d call it. He talks even less than Noah but he’s very intelligent, and he can say so much with the simple twinkle of an eye. Sometimes people pass and stare at us when we’re just looking at each other, with a silence that speaks so many words.87
♥Sarah Smiles – A shy, sweet girl (like I) whom Hannah introduced to me of course. She’s very quiet, always sitting in a far off corner, reading or writing. She’s one of those people you just feel drawn to. She’s very nice, and although not very talkative, she’s a really wonderful person.88
♥Kevin Lani – The somewhat stalker-like nerd who has a crush on Hannah. Apart from his quirkiness, he’s a fun guy. He’s very protective and caring. He’s the most intelligent person I guess, crazy, but fun!89
57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person.
♥♥♥David. Well, what my father calls ‘dating’ wouldn’t classify us as together (he has a whole list of what to do and what not to do), but we are. David and I already have plans to be together for a long time. He’s cool like that, and I like the fact that he understands my (father’s) standards.90
58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.91
♥♥♥Yes, I have and I am, with David. The first time we met was in class, when he came late and took a seat behind me, but the first time we talked was when we were paired up for an English homework. Every time I was with him felt like sparks were flying. I couldn’t help but getting a wave of emotion shoot through my body. The more we talked, the more we realized we were alike, and we eventually fell in love, or at least, we found out we both shared the same feelings for each other.92
59. What do you look for in a potential lover?
♥Trust, respect, wisdom, selflessness and morals.93
60. How close are you to your family?
Very close, my parents and I are like siblings. As for the rest of the family, not very close. Most of them are too busy working to visit or call or that stuff. 94
61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?
No, but I do want to start a family, I want to experience the gift of motherhood. Even though my mother was in a tough spot as a teenager handling a child, she had so much love in her heart. I want to experience that love, and bring forth a new generation.95
62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?
My dad, he’s like some kind of help centre.96
63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?
I trust all my friends to protect me. Trust it not an exceptional thing, once you trust someone you love, you trust them with anything, or at least, that’s how I see it.97
64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you?98
All my friends, especially (emphasis on especially) my dad would miss me. He’d break without me. It’s too obvious for me to be lying.99
65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why?100
Prince Camron, he tried to enslave the people of Everfate and take over their world. He’s an evil man who only takes pleasure in torturing innocents. I may regret taking part in this war, but at least some good came out of it and his judgment has been set.101
66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
I avoid conflict as if it’s poison ivy. I hate arguments.102
67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?
Ah! Like heck no! I’m always the shadow in social situations.103
68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not?
Not really, unless I know them pretty well. I don’t like being bombarded by strangers. I find keeping up a conversation to be quite hard. 104
69. Do you care what others think of you?
Well, kind of. It can get to me. If so many people see me this way, what am I doing to make them think that way? That’s the question I ask in my mind. As for being myself, I’m good with that, I just don’t like being degraded.105
________________________________________106
Part 6: Likes And Dislikes107
70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes?
♥Photography, drawing, writing, reading and gazing at nature’s beauty.108
71. What is your most treasured possession?
♥My mom’s silver, butterfly shaped necklace. Dad bought it as a Christmas present and she wore it on her wedding day.109
72. What is your favorite color?
♥Green110
73. What is your favorite food?
♥Ice-cream!111
74. What, if anything, do you like to read?
♥Novels; fantasy, romance, adventure and family or life related genres.112
75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?
♥Reading, writing or movies.113
76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit?
No, I hate all that stuff.114
77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?
Watching movies, instant messaging my friends or just lying down and enjoying a good book.115
78. What makes you laugh?
♥My dad, or Kevin’s crazy antics, Hannah and Stretch’s arguments and being tickled all make me laugh. Jokes and other stuff make me laugh but those 3 are special.116
79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?
Cruelty, racism, quick judgment and strong sexually inappropriate behaviour; all of those things shock, offend or disgust me.117
80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
I’d toy with something in my hands. I do that now, it is a little habit. My hands have to contain something, or I have to be tapping, pinching or hitting something.118
81. How do you deal with stress?
I get even more solemn than usual. I stay quiet unless I have nervous breakdowns. I also get tired, but I can’t fall asleep.119
82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?
It’s not really having a plan, it’s just knowing what the outcome can be or what I’m gonna do but certain times you just gotta take a leap of faith, so I’d say a little bit of both.120
83. What are your pet peeves?121
• Being hit on
• When my parents are judged
• Being touched by a random stranger or somewhere I don’t want to be touched
• Being teased
• Not having anything to do with my hands
• Too much homework!
• Writer’s block
• Broken things
• Waking up in the middle of the night122
________________________________________123
Part 7: Self Images And Etc.124
84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted?
• Do the basic hygiene requirements like washing my face, changing clothes, brushing teeth, brushing hair, and etcetera.
• Yell to my dad so he can wake up and make breakfast (he doesn’t trust me with food).
• Eat and talk to my dad.
• If it’s a school day, I’ll go to school (after making a fuss with my clothing), make a teacher’s pet of myself by answering all the questions correctly, try hard not to get teased, study or just read in the library for a few and go home. If it’s not a school day, I waste the hours by watching TV, reading, writing, watching and helping my father write or looking at the countryside view from whichever spot I can get it.
• Help dad with whatever writing or photography assignment he has.
• Eat dinner, usually take-out.
• Watch TV, or go to bed early after wishing dad goodnight.125
If it’s interrupted, that’d be interesting. My life’s basically boring anyway, I like little things that make a day unique, but not big surprises that change the entire course of events.126
85. What is your greatest strength as a person?
♥My strength: I guess I’d say my ability to keep going. As weak as I may seem, when I think of how strong my parents have been, it gives me the power to keep on going, even when times are hard.127
86. What is your greatest weakness?
Fear, my strength may keep me going, but my fear can get the best of me sometimes, or rather, most times. I tend to be paranoid and meek, and that damage my defenses in the worst possible moments.128
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
♥Well, I wouldn’t change anything really. I know my imperfections will get me down, but they’re what make me, me. No matter how much a different or additional feature may seem to improve myself, there’s always gonna be a downfall. So I try to deal with being myself the best I can. 129
88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
Introverted, either I mumble my words, say ‘um’, or never say anything to anyone. I’m not social at all.130
89. Are you generally organized or messy?
Too organized, I get it from my father. If anything’s out of place it’s like a nuclear bomb’s about to go off. Albeit, since I’ve become a teenager I’ve been less on the cleanly scale, but still neater than my other teenage alternates.131
90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
Good talents:-
♥Drawing
♥Writing
♥Singing132
Bad Talents:-
• Playing instruments
• Dancing
• Physical Education133
91. Do you like yourself?
♥♥♥No. I LOVE myself.134
92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...)
♥For the people I love and basic human (and non-human) rights. I believe fighting and going to certain lengths for someone is worth it.135
93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?
♥Becoming famous, whether it be photographer, artist or writer.136
94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
♥Living with David, taking care of our child/children, me writing a potential best seller and David teaching the art of healing to our child/children.137
95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?
♥Dying the same time with someone I love, asleep beside them.138
96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.
1. Type up a short message on the computer expressing my love for everyone, andthe secrets I had held back all these years. And then post it on solsticewriters.com
2. Hug everyone I meet as I walk to the park, and do the same as I walk back home.
3. Dance like no one’s watching with all my friends and family. 139
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
♥Hm, what to say to that? I’d just like to be remembered as a blessing in this world, and not just “another person”.140
98. What three words best describe your personality?
1. Feather – Soft, warm, comforting.
2. Silence – It can say so much.
3. Blessing – A good thing that helps you through this life, even when you don’t notice it’s there. 141
99. What three words would others probably use to describe you?
1. Shy – timid, quiet, lonesome.
2. Lovely – Born from, and into love, and full of it.
3. Child – Innocent, small, lovable.142
100. If you could, what advice would you, the protagonist, give to your antagonist? (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice...)143
♥“Love can fill you up, break you down, strike you down, turn you around, slap you in the face, brighten your day, make you cry, make you laugh, make you die, and so much more, but it can never, it can never lie. Because love is the truth; it's there. We just need to go out there and get it.”♥144
~*~145
Ashlee sighed with content as her work was finished, albeit the last part had been random crappy stroke of inspiration from her mother's quote. She hoped the host liked this - scratch that - she prayed . But it was alright, she had completed 100 questions, and there was so much more you could know about a person. But for now, another item has been posted on solsticewriters.com, another day has been closed, and another writer has left their mark on the world.
Author notes
^^ It took me like 2 days to finish this! (I have a short attention span and I'm a true procrastinator
)
I chose all 100 questions because I need to stop neglecting my characters and actually develop them :-P
If you notice any 'puns' or really idiotic misspelled words (like Japeneese and Espanian, the latter meaning Hispanic for you nitwits) that's how it is in the story. Only a few things are actually "normally used in our world". I'm trying my best to fit in all kind of punny crap
I finished the first chapter, and started the second chapter, but most of it is not yet typed up on my computer >_< So yeah, need to work on that. But at least you learn a little about the story! (without me actually giving out the plot, cause the plot is still in it's crappy format xD)
Anyways hoped you liked this! ^-^
