I have grown up around and in a family where love, true passionate love for another person just does not seem to excist. So far, even though I am but 17, I seem to be following down that same road. I believed myself to have loved two people, and one broke my heart tremendously, and the other is my best friend who is engaged to another woman. I have grown to fear love, because I am afraid that if I do ever find it, it will fear me.

We all go through this, some take for ever to heal. But remember when you fall in love, It's a feeling you love to have but hate that you have it. Even if you get scared there will be others that will come along and sowth the pain. Good luck with everything I wish you a far life in which the pain will not last.

This is very personal and I'm glad you shared it. Most of my family agrees with your thoughts on Love, but I always try to tune that out. And also don't give up on it, even if it seems love has given up on you or that it's scared of you. It really is a scary thing to think about. Although I really do believe that there's someone out there for everyone.

it's true about that. some people have the fear of being feared by love. it was great! it really touched me even if it was not that much. But in those words, they have just caught me in and made me see what it was like to be hearbroken.
