Conner was gone forever.
He would never come back.
He was out of her life for the rest of her painfull life.
She felt useless without him.
Without his
gentle touch,
his charming smile,
his ocean blue-green eyes,
his soft lips to warm up her's.1
Ana was sleeping,
until the ringing of her phone woke her up.
She sat up and reached for her phone that was
resting on her night stand.
"Hello," she said, rubbing her eyes.
Conner's sister as on the other side, talking.
"No," Ana's voice cracked as the words came out.
"no, he can't be."
"I'm dreaming," Ana told herself.
"it's just a crazy dream."
Hanging up, she put her head back onto her
pillow and drifted off to sleep.2
Waking up to the sun light, shining through the peeks of her blinds, and the chirping of the birds.
She flipped open her cell to call Conner.
The phone went straight to voice mail.
"Hey, Conner. It me, Ana. Call me when you get this
message. Love you, bye."3
Days passed, still no call from Conner.
Ana called him everyday for the passed week.
She desided to call Conner's mother.
"Hello, Mrs. Mendleson, how are you?"
His mother said, "Hello," with her voice cracking.
"I ment to tell you-" She stopped talking.
"I ment to tell you, that Conner's funeral is this
tuesday." She said, balling. Then she hung up.4
Ana just sat there, blank. She told herself that
she was just hearing things and what his mother
ment to say was,
"Conner will be at the fair this tuesday
and he wants you to come."
Every year Conner would take her to the
county fair. They always had the best time there.
He even proposed to her by the fairess wheel.5
When tuesday came, Ana drove to where to fair
where it was every year. She was so excited to go.
But when she got there, it was empty.
Only an empty feild of grass and dirt.6
A few kids playing soccor out in the feild.
Maybe Conner was out there playing.
His youngest brother is on the soccor team,
maybe he's helping him practice.
She got out of her car and walked out
to the feild. She spotted Conner kicking the ball.
"Conner," Ana waved.
He just kept on playing.
"Maybe he didn't hear me." She thought.
She called out his name a little louder.
Still, he didn't look.
She ran up to him.
"Conner," she smiled.
He just went around her.
"Conner," She cried. "why are you ingoring me?"
"Score!" He cheered.7
Her cell phone rang. It was her sister, Becca, calling.
"Hello,"
"Ana, Why aren't you here at Conner's funeral?" She whispered.
"But, Conner is right here." Ana said, turning around, where Conner was playing Soccor.
But Conner wasn't there.
Ana, are you okay?"
Yea, Ana said and hung up.
She ran around the feild looking for Conner.
She ran into the woods that was by the field.
Looking in each bush, behind every tree.
He wasn't there. He was no where to be found.
"Conner," Ana screamed on top of her lungs.
A few birds flew out of the trees.8
Her phone rang again.
Ana, please get over here." Her sister begged.
A chill ran down Ana's spine.
"How did Conner die, exactly?" Ana asked, her voice shaking.
"I'm not sure," Becca said. " They're not
even showing the body. Why, Ana, whats wrong?"
Conner's body was hanging from a tree right in front of her.
Ana dropped her phone and screamed.
She knew Conner didn't hang himself because
his feet looked as if they've been chopped off,
one of his eyes where gajjed out, his
ring finger was cut off.9
Eric, her friend, came from behind the tree.
His hands and cloths bloody.
"Ana," He said crying. "I didn't mean too.
Ana gagged and tried not to throw up.
"Why?" Ana said crying.
"Because, I-i love you." he said, dropping to his knees.
"You should be with me, not him he smiled.
"You're crazy, Ana screamed and ran but before
she would Eric grabbed her by her ancle and she tripped.
"Ana, listen to me, please. I love you."
"I hate you!" Ana yelled. "Let me go.
"Sorry, Ana, I can't do that. You've seen to much."10
Ana's heart stopped. "Eric," She said. "Don't do it."
Eric smiled. " Then marry me, Marry me, Ana. I promise
that you'll be happy for the rest of your life. I'll do
anything for you. Anything."
Ana didn't take her eye's of the bloody knife.
"Okay," She whispered.
He drops the knife and crawls over to her.
" I knew my plan would work!" he smiled again.
He hugged Ana. And as they hugged, Ana reached for the knife
and stabbed Eric right in his back.
"Good bye, Eric."
"Ana, no."11

*tear runs down cheek* that was amazing! I loved every second of it. It was like a leaky faucet, slowly letting out information. Everything was placed perfectly. I enjoyed it sooo much. *wipes tear*
