“I don’t know why you did this to me” said Ceri; “I’ve never done anything wrong.”1

“What did I do to you?” said nick2

“You tried to make me have sex with you.” She shouted3

“I’ve never done that to you.” he said4

“Yes you have and I didn’t want to so you ignored me and then you dumped me.” Ceri shouted whilst nearly in tears because remembering that day scared her.5

“Ok fine I did but I never raped you!” nick replied6

“Yes but you took away my confidence.” She sobbed7

“So you can easily get that back you’ve had lots of boyfriends since me.” Nick said8

“ Yes but I’ve never trusted them until now which is two years later and that is the first time.” 9

She was in hysterics because she still sort of loved him. Ever since that day she’d never let a guy even hold her hand. But now she had this new boyfriend Toby and he was trustworthy so she had kissed him and it felt like the first time. Then nick had come round and started talking to her about he was depressed and was cutting himself. She felt like he deserved it but she still helped him and then he started chatting her up and said they should go out again and so she was trying to tell him why she didn’t want to go through all that pain again and that Toby was a caring guy, but nick was having none of it.10

“Your lying” said nick in annoyance, “you’ve pulled loads of guys since me.”11

“No I haven’t, I thought all guys were pigs and that they all were like you, so I cheated on them,” she said.12

“Yes so you can cheat on this new one with me.” Nick stated13

“NO!!! He’s loving and caring.”14

She was getting frustrated now because Toby was the best guy she’d found and she truthfully loved him and didn’t want to cheat on him.15

“So that doesn’t mean you can’t cheat on him.” Suggested nick16

Ceri grabbed a knife from the table behind her.17

“If you say that again I will kill myself now stop and get out of my house, don’t ever come back and I never want to talk to you or see you ever again. Leave my life and never come back!!”18

“Ok just put the knife down and I’ll go. Bye” said nick in a worried voice and rushed out of the house.19

When nick had left she dropped to her knees and sobbed for hours still with the knife in hand. She cut her arms a couple of times and they were still bleeding when Toby came home and found her. He grabbed her and held her in his arms and told her it was ok because he was here and no one could hurt her. He took her to bed and watched her all night, just to make sure that she wouldn’t commit suicide.20
