Peter Pan

My childhood obsession was Peter Pan. I was four to about eleven. I watched the movie almost five times a day. I burt out like five tapes. Me and my best friend Samantha would play out the movie almost everyday before she moved. We would switch between being Wendy and Peter. Sometimes we would try to get our younger siblings to play. Sam's younger sister Kayla was for and five so she caould get most of the parts. My brother was only two to three. I would always get so mad when he couldn't get the parts. But hey I was five.1

After Sam moved I started to get my other friends Madeline and Amanda into it. We would still play it out but sometimes we would use barbies. We found it was easier to make them fly. When I moved a year later the roleplaying stopped but I still watched the movie everyday and had a ton of things from it. When the platinum dvd came out a couple years ago I bought it. And it wasn't as good as I remembered to be. Although that didn't stop me from yelling at my mom when she threw out all my disney tapes.

The book by J.M. Barrie was not to my tastes. I did like the character of Wendy, but Peter was just blah. He kept returning every year to get Wendy so that she could come to Neverland and tell him stories. He did this even when she was a mother, at which point he collected her daughter, Jane. Then when Jane was a mother he collected HER daughter.

Aw, Peter Pan! Such a fun movie! Your last sentence was great, haha. I would yell at my mom if she threw out mine, too. :]

And yes, flying is easier with Barbies. I learned that the hard way. :]
