Love is...

Pain

Author notes

I have been in love
I have been in pain
When it comes down to it
They both feel the same.

True...sometimes it does mean that. And yet sometimes it's worth it all. And sometimes, you don't always have to be in pain. A nice opt for a word.

Understandable, love can be such a painful thing when things are holding you from being completely you.

    Very much both

I cant seem to stop thinking that in order to love, one must know what hate feels like. Even if its not directed to a person....and even if it is.
People lie when they love...just because they want to hide things from the other person...because of the uncertainty of their reaction and/or fear of (non)acceptance of whatever it is that is trying to be kept a secret. Even if they accepted whatever it is, to most people it's hard to understand and grasp that someone can accept you for who you are and what you prefer.
