Love for me is what I have with my best friend- she is my other half- we have been through others trying to tear us apart, painful fights, disagreements- we have spent so much time fighting for our friendship. When I came back from living abroad- I had been hurt really badly and it took months for me to trust again- she was right by my side , listening and tolerating how hurt I was the entire time. because of her I was able to trust people again. She still hates them for how they hurt me- it hurt her to know I was in pain. We have been seperated, healed each other,faced tragedy together, grown up through thepast years together- we are still standing strong- at different schools now we are and always will be forever- beyond the friendship , I love her for all we have been through together and amazing it is to have someone know you as well as you know yourself- love kept our friendship from falling apart.
Losing her would destroy me and take the ground from beneath my feet
Sorry this is probably a long explanation- my best friend and I are insanely tight- she isn't my only best friend but one of the people who will always be in my heart.

This is beautiful. Something which I can see is truly sincere and straight from the heart. It's also something I can pretty much relate to. Although my best friend and I have only met less than a year ago, we're tight as anything.
We've been through a lot too. Wonderfully written and beautifully done. Great job!

That's nice. Sometimes people don't consider love between friends to be a true sort of love, but it is very similar to that between lovers. I think friendships can last forever and be intertwined with you from one life to the next. Who knows you could have been married in a past life (if you believe in that). Good job.
I have two extremely close friends and I feel the same way about them as you are saying here. Definitely worth sticking through the tough times.

I think it is forever- she and I are struggling right now but I know what we have is still there- we are both dealing with some things.. and stressed.. but I know I won't ever lose her

I like how you manage to not put romantic love in there, I was getting a bit tired when peopel assumed "love" meant only romanc.e o__o

I don't really think that love is forever, cause we don't live forever. But, i guess forever can span a lifetime...i could spend forever typing forever...
