Epilogue-The Rest of the Story2
I still look back on that day, everyday, knowing that I was part of that circle, looking small from the outside, but meaning everything from the inside.3
To some, my part in the story is small, insignificant. To others, the story wouldn’t be the same without me, without Heidi Anders, Megan wouldn’t be the person she was without the help of Heidi through the Tara and Katy stages. 4
Megan and Sean stayed together, just like they were supposed to, just like I knew that they would. Everyday was a risk for them, staying together when they knew they weren’t supposed to but they still did it anyway. Fairy tale love sees nothing but the two people and the mission to keep them together, despite what may get in the way. The rest is history. They married later and had a little boy. 5
Pedro Sandoval returned to jail, this time with a much harsher punishment than the one he had received in the first place. He was placed in a more secure prison to prevent a breakout happening again. Hector also joined his brother in prison, on accounts on kidnapping, attempted murder and murder. He too would be watched carefully during his punishment.6
A funeral was held for Ryan Wilson, but of course, Megan, Sean and I were not permitted to attend it. It was dangerous for both us and Ryan’s family to meet, considering the circumstances surrounding his death. Both Megan and I wrote letters, thanking them for bringing such a wonderful boy into the world and to convey the sorrow we felt at his death. Ryan turned out to be a courageous guy in the end, risking his life for two girls he hardly knew, even after they had cut him from their world.7
I returned back to my home in Tennessee, knowing that it was safer for both Megan and I if we stayed away from each other. We wrote frequently though and stayed best friends until the end. We met twice after her party: once at her wedding where I was the maid of honor and the other, when her baby boy, Ryan, was born. It wasn’t possible for us to visit any more than that. It was just too dangerous. 8
This isn’t the full story. All these pages couldn’t explain everything that went on for everyone involved. It was full of so much love, passion, friendship, fear and courage all at the same time. The story lived before when Tara ran into Pedro Sandoval in that bathroom and the story continues on, not just for her, but also for Sean, for me, for everyone. For now, though, I’ll close this book, and remember the code names and what they did for all of us. 9

The story of Tara (as Katy and Megan) is now finished for me, but not for you...you can imagine what happens next

I wasn't prepared for this. I liked it soooo much. But now that it's over what shall i do?... but yeah Great job. This was such a great story. You are such a great writer.
