Love is...

Origami

Author notes

Hi. I say that love is Origami, cause the art of paperfolding that is origami- alot of people think it's easy to do and easy to learn.

And it may at first with the beginner's level but when you get to the advanced levels it calls for not only following the advice of those who have gone before you but working out how with your experience and with your skills can you make this particular object, this particular thing work. And alot of people get disheartened by that.

Or they try it once, don't do it like they see someone who has been doing it for years doing it, then they give up.

Or they are like children, who think it must be as perfect as in the instruction book or as perfect as the folding of the teacher.

Origami works one by knowing what are the established ways of working with the medium, and knowing where to stick to that and when to create new ways that work for you and your situation.

Love is like that.

Ooohhh... this is an original thought! I like it. Also like origami, love goes from something that looks plain to a complex thing, you have to fold it and manipulate it to make it beautiful. I really like your description!
