Dear Diary <3,2

Last night was the night that changed my life forever! I met this really hot guy!. He's going to be 16 next month on July 28th. I'm only 14! He's a sophmore at Moline High School! I'll be a freshman in August. So you're probably wondering who this hot football jock is that I fell for last night huh? Benjamin Rowe. He has a brother, Shane, and a little sister, Jenna. Ben's a true gentleman. Zach told me I was glowing. Tonight Ben called me and asked me to be his girlfriend. Of course I accepted! I know I know, I said I wouldn't fall in love again because I was sick of a broken heart but I don't think I have to worry about that with Ben. It's time for my happiness to return.3

For once in a LONG time I feel really happy. I HAVE to make this work.4

The night of June 25th Ben lay in his bed unable to sleep. He kept thinking about the past two nights. He hadn't been in a relationship for quite awhile but now he thought he had a chance to make it work.8

"Ben, you've got to make this work. You've got a beautiful girl knocking on your door. You can't hurt her. You've got to make this work!" he thought to himself. Inside he knew the road wouldn't be easy because of his parents. He thought maybe they'd like her, she seemed smart, and she was getting back into bowling.9
