Akito

Real people are imperfect to a fault. They are generally an uninteresting, lackluster, and very self absorbed sort of people. The few rare exceptions seem to either be mentally insane or completely impossible to get close to for various other reasons. My unseemly ventures into the realm of fantasy have made such conjectures completely evident to me. Most possibly the worst thing about reading a fiction novel is the impossibility of ever befriending the characters in your favorite books. The ones that you feel like you know so well but they haven’t the faintest idea of who you are and can never reply to anything you ask them. This sad paradox is sort of a cloud over my existence that I cannot shake. This being so, I will try to convey to you the ideas that I have on this subject while also meeting the requirements of this essay. That was my compelling statement. This essay’s main subject will be a description of a character that I find to be interesting and that his position I find enviable, though you may or may not agree with me. His name is Akito.1

Ironically, Akito is actually mildly insane and has three different personalities. The first he has named Agito who is a very violent persona that finds making people bleed extremely enjoyable, the second he calls Lind. Lind is the most stable of the three and has asserted itself as a sort of big brother figure to the others. All of these factions of Akito where formed because of Akito’s interactions with his actual big brother, Kaito. Kaito used Agito and his prowess to hurt others, something that Agito doesn’t enjoy doing, so in response Agito made Akito to take the responsibility from him. Lind was formed at the loss of Kaito, for he was in need of a sibling. Akito is a generally laid back character who enjoys the company of friends. His is slightly mischievous and can get very jealous. That was a quick overview of Akito’s basic personality traits. What made me originally interested in him was his innocence. It is the sort of innocence that just makes you smile, which is immensely added to by his naughty behavior and uncaring for the world around him. He is the sort that takes no ill effects from the macabre events of every day life. Then he shows his knowledge of his effect on people by pulling pranks and knowing that there will be no other consequence than a smile. Such innocence in character is generally not found in those beings above the age of three, a great inconvenience, no? Who wouldn’t want a friend who will protect you love you and make you smile all while not being affected by any of your imperfections or evil ways? As of right now, I am not aware that any such person exists.2

This essay was me just saying what I believe. The only reason this subject was even chosen was that I have failed to interview my original specimen as of yet. I am now considering leaving it like this. It is as close as I can get to trying to punch the ignoramus who doesn’t read, as well as trying to check if anyone has reached the same conclusions as I. And Akito is pretty cool too.3
