My Childhood Obsession

Although my childhood ended not too long ago, I had an obsession I will never, ever, ever, forget.1

It started one day when I was about preschool age, during a commercial break.2

"Spirit- Stallion of the Cimarron coming to theaters near you!" the commercail advertised. I turned off the TV, for I had just started my love for horses.3

"Daddy daddy daddy!" I shouted, jumping up and down, very hyper.4

"What?" He asked, exasperated at my too-often overexcitment. I told him about the movie, Spirit, a story about a horse who is captured by cowboys and is rescued by an indian man.5

A week later I was sitting in a theater seat, stuffing myself with popcorn and jumping up and down. It was quite the good movie actually, and I did cry when the female horse got sick and when the horse got captured, but that's not the point. A new obsession was born.6

Soon my room turned into Spirit world. A million horse stuffed animals sat on my bed, and I loved each one of them. I was quite the cute horse lover.7

Still, years later, I will admit that sometimes I go on YouTube and watch fan videos and cry because it is such a sad yet cute yet moving video. 8

That's my childhood obsession.

Aw, that's cute! Spirit was such a good movie! This is probably the most unique obsession I've heard hehe. :]
I remember one day, my friend and I were at this weird ranch in the middle of nowhere that had a gift shop and such, and we started naming the horses after the horses in Spirit. :] hehe.

Thank you so much for entering!
