Don't Answer The Door - Ch. 21

Leah ran into the street, and she began running quickly. There were no cars around, no one walking, nothing. She felt alone, and when she moved to her apartment, that was what she wanted, to feel alone, away from everyone else. 1

"Damn it!" She said, feeling stupid because she felt stranded. 2

Leah did not know the area very well, and she did not know where she was running to. The moon was not visible, and neither were the stars. She had no source of light and she began to panic. Leah was running for a while and then she stopped quickly as she realized where she was.3

"Oh no..." She said, fear growing inside of her. 4

She looked around and saw trees, she was right by the woods and she was afraid of that. There were no cars around, and it was even darker because the trees made it more gloomy, darker. Leah did not know where to go, if she should keep walking or if she should turn around. She looked behind her and didn't see anyone, but of course it was the middle of the night. How did she know her eyes were not deceiving her? How did she know that the man running after her was not hiding in the dark, waiting to jump out and grab her. 5

Although something told Leah not to run forward, deeper into the woods area, she continued on anyway. She ran quickly, and the quicker she ran the more she began to fall. She didn't know if she was on the side curb, or in the street. Leah hit something really hard with her foot, and she shouted in pain. She stared down, squinting, hoping to see better. When she realized what was on the ground in front of her, she began shrieking.6

"Oh dear God! What the hell?!" She screamed as she began crying.7

Tears began to stream down her face. She couldn't seem to take her eyes off of the mutilated body that laid there. When she realized body parts were cut off the poor girl, she began puking. She accidentally threw up on the body and hated herself for being disrespectful. Leah didn't know what to do, she didn't know who would do such a thing. 8

As she looked at the body, she quickly remembered Carter. She began to wonder if he was found like this, if someone had thrown up on or around him. She began to cry, as she collapsed to the ground. She rocked herself as she screamed into the night sky, as she sat next to the dead body. Leah really didn't realize she was sitting only a few feet from it. 9

There was a sound coming from behind her, she realized. She stopped crying suddenly, but her lips began to quiver in fear. Looking behind her and seeing no one there, she still began to run. Although she didn't' see anything, she knew she heard it. What if that was the killer? He tried to kill her by burning her apartment down but he didn't succeed, so why would he give up? 10

The thought of her being dead in the middle of a street in the middle of the woods scared her, it terrified her. She ran quickly, and decided to get off the main road. She ran down the hill quickly and into the woods. She cowered behind a tree hoping to be obscure from the eyes of her stalker.11

She heard leaves rustling as someone stepped on them. Her fear grew quickly and she panicked. She began running, pushing branches out of the way as she ran through the dark and gloomy woods.12

"Son of a bitch!" She screamed as she fell hard on her chest. 13

The air was knocked out of her and she felt paralyzed. She heard the stalker coming closer and closer, and the pain in her chest grew. She began sobbing.14

"Please, Please don't hurt me. Please!" She screamed out loud between sobs, as she realized the man was standing above her feet.15

She asked herself why she is giving up, why she won't save herself, and she realized that she had nothing to live for. She stopped crying, she stopped trying to get up because she realized it was pointless. Her death had come, and her murderer was the angel of her darkness. Before she were to be departed from this earth, she asked something.16

"Who are you?" She asked, quietly.17

"C - The one who will Cut your heart out." He said as he took out a dagger and stabbed Leah in her thigh. 18

She screamed in agony as her hands automatically went for her thigh. Leah felt the blood pouring out quickly. It felt thick and it was hot.19

"A - The one who will Amputate your arms and legs, and leave you a limbless thing." He continued to say slowly, stabbing her other thigh. 20

"G - The one who will feast on your livers and Guts." He said with a laugh.21

This time, he pulled out a sword from his trench coat and stabbed Leah throw the stomach with it. He twisted the sword around in her stomach and he watched her scream. He enjoyed the fact that he is bringing pain and agony onto another victim.22

"E - I am Everything you need to fear. I am your death, mother fucker." He finally said as he pulled the sword out of Leah's stomach quickly, and with one quick move, he sliced her head clean off.23

He bent over and picked up Leah's head, and watched as the lips twitched, whispering their last words.24

"You killed him.." Were the only words she was able to get out. 25

Cage knew what she was talking about. 26

"Yes, I killed him." He began to laugh hysterically as he grabbed the head by the hair.27

He stopped laughing suddenly and he looked at Leah's dead pale face. He brought the head close to his face and began to kiss Leah's lips. He forced her lips open as he slid his tongue into her mouth and brought her tongue into his mouth. Then he bit down hard. Cage pulled Leah's decapitated head away from his face quickly, as he turned his head to the right very fast. He pulled out Leah's tongue with his sharp and yellow teeth. 28

He threw the head near the body and looked at the blood the was squirting out. He began to laugh as he swallowed the bloody tongue. Cage bent over and picked up the bloody body which belonged to a once beautiful Leah. He threw her body over his shoulder, carrying her, his hand on her butt.29

Cage went deep into the woods as he began to sing in the dark night.30

"You're next, watch out. You'll be dead just like the rest. You're guts are mine, and your body is my shrine. After I slaughter you, your misery will end soon..." he continued to sing darkly, as he continued to walk in the moonless night. 31
