When I came to Jesus in 2002 He was a life line to me. I also met my husband who was the one who introduced me to Jesus. Before this time I had never lived properly. I had given up. I was a completely different person then than I am now. I was self harming in a big way. I was deeply involved with spiritualism involving tarot cards and other forms of the occult. I was seriously mentally ill and couldn't even hold a conversation. I was also smoking cannabis and drinking alcohol. 2
Today I can say that although there is still much pain in my life. I am a new creation. A new person. God has done a work in me and made my life completely change. I never knew this was possible. I burned everything that was to do with my old life and the occult and gave my life completely to Jesus. I am a much happier person now and I am living not dying. Being brought up Jewish both my parents are. I appreciate Jesus being Jewish and He is my Messiah. My God and My Saviour. If it wasn't for Jesus then I can really say that I would probably be dead by now. I have given up smoking cannabis I don't even smoke anymore. I hardly ever drink alcohol and I haven't self harmed in over 6 months. I am indeed a new creation.3
God died at Easter, but rose again. His resurrection. He gave to each one that will turn to Him and accept Him into their lives life eternal. Easter is a time for repentance. A time to get to know the true, living God. I firmly believe that those who give their lives to Him are born again and enjoy a life spent with Him. How wonderful is that? Easter is the time that Jesus was crucified to save all sinners and set us free. If you want to ask Jesus into your heart today you can say a prayer that goes;4
