I walked through corridors, seemingly endless stretches of antiseptic white tunnels. All the doors had names on them, neatly lettered and neatly arranged alphabetically. 1
I hoped my doctor wouldn't be a man, or worse a cute man. It was sort of a nightmare to have to take your clothes off and have a guy check you over, I couldn't really tell from just the way their handwriting was. They were probably old though, most Doctors liked to type their notes up on a computer and have their secratary deliver them. Maybe they'll be young and really friendly, I'll have a friend I'm not separated from.2
I remember the day me and my best friend were separated. It was awful. 3
SHIT! My train of thoughts evaporated as a nurse carrying a small stack of papers tripped and pushed me over, I didn't feel anything. The sudden rush of air and my whole body slamming in the ground left no time for pain. I went numb all over, it surprised me that all I could feel was a sudden dullness rushing through me. 4
I stood up as fast as I could manage, and the nurse lay there, writhing in pain. My head spun and a wave of pain shot through my side like one thousand needles, and there was nothing. 5
A darkness so soothing washed over me like water, I could see for miles and miles but it was always there. Someone watching me through a pitch black veil, my pulse died and everything began to slip from my mind, into a dark oblivion.6
