The Loss of Reason Blade [1] 6

My heart was in my chest as I walked back to my car Amy by my side. One of the biggest things we had had in common was our crazy parents; they would over react to anything. This time however I could see how they could over react to last night, not that I told them the truth, but they still knew. After Amy’s mom had come in Amy’s room to find us sleeping together this morning, I had driven home. I knew that my parents were going to wig out so I prepared for it. I didn’t think they would kick me out though.1

We got in the car and I backed out of the driveway. I had had numb playing on the radio on the way over, but now I turned it down. “So your mom kicked you out or did you leave?” I asked, I figured it wouldn’t be as bad if she got kicked out too.2

“Technically she kicked me out, but I was pushing her buttons I wanted to leave,” her answer although not what I expected, didn’t surprise me.3

“Oh, so are you moving in with John, Shane, Alex, and Sarah, or just staying there for now?” If she was getting a place on her own then I was willing to put money on the fact that she would let me move in.4

“I’m staying long term, why?” she asked.5

“Well you know how my parents are, they jumped to conclusions when I got home this morning, although for once they where right, not that I told them that,” I said as Amy laughed.6

“So let me guess they kicked you out too?” She asked, even though I could tell she already knew.7

“How’d you know?” I asked sometimes her ability to read me was scary.8

“Well you said that they flipped out, and you where asking if I got kicked out and where I was staying, it wasn’t hard to string those together you know.”9

“Oh, right, well you know what I was thinking was that maybe we could get a place together?” I asked, I was a little bit scared about what her answer would be.10

“Um… well, you know that I would love to move in with you, but why don’t we asked the guys if you could stay there too,” she said.11

“Are you sure that there would be enough room in that little house for all of us I mean how many of us are there, John, Shane, Alex, Sarah, and you already are you sure that there is room for another person?”12

“Well, lets see that house only has 3 rooms, six people, three couples, yeah I think that you could move in, you could stay in my room.”13

“Oh, well, I guess that would work.”14

“Yeah I bet it will,” she smiled.15

“You want some breakfast?” asked as my stomach growled at me.16

“Yeah that sounds good.”17
