What is life and what is death? Some people would give everything for one more day while others give up years without a purpose. I`m 18. at this age no one should know what death is, yet I know . You read the confessions of a madman (you read it well, that`s what I am) but listen well, I won`t keep you long , you`ll realize that even a creazy kid can teach you something.

Ok that`s not one line it`s one whole paragraph , hope you don`t mind.
The story is called "Dream Sellers" and will be up in about two days.

This really does hook the reader and as an opening paragraph, i think it provides the avenue to quite a wide variety of genres. I can actually think of several story lines that can go with this one paragraph. I like it.

I don't mind, lol. I just didn't want people to give me pages upon pages of words. I don't have time for that, and I don't want to read the whole story. The point of this contest is to set up a list of stories that I can read when I'm bored sometime in the future. I don't intend to read any until this contest is over, lol.
With that being said, I would like to say that your paragraph drew me in. I do want to read more, and I'm happy to say that maybe I will once your story is up. Great work. Best of luck in my contest
