Into The Light (Summary)

Into The Light (The Story):
This is the first chapter to a story about Nara, who has just gotten married to the love of her life Devon, and on her honeymoon she finds out that her Father had passed away. He father is the president of a very well established company, very wealthy. In his will, all the money, and the company goes to her.
She knows in her heart that something is wrong, she feels that her father was murdered.
Her best friend Blake happens to be a detective, and she asks him to look into her fathers case (being the good friend he is, and secretly in love with Nara, he agrees.)
There is no real lead or clues for Blake to follow, so the investigation is slow going.
As this happens, Nara unexpectedly falls ill, soon discovering that she has cancer. She undergoes kimo, loses her hair, and still her health deteriorates. Devon stays by her side, day and night.
As the investigation unfolds, Blake discovers many disturbing things of an unexpected character...Devon (Nara's husband)
He finds that Devon has had many wives in the past, all having very wealthy families. Devon was a widower 3 times over.
Nara's illness is not because she has cancer, she is being slowly poisoned by her husband. In order to make it look like cancer, Devon bought a hospital that was about to be torn down,and brought it to life, paying unknown actors (very well) to play out this scenerio. After Nara left everyday, they would put the sign back up "Under construction, Faith Hosptial opening soon!"
When Blake puts all the pieces together, he rushes to save Nara.
He ends up running into Devon, who shoots him. Thinking that Blake is dead, he rushes off to the hospital to make sure that Nara is given her last shot. Nara arrives at the hospital early, sees the sign and is confused, not a soul is in the hospital, and she finds things that make her realize what is going on. When Devon arrives, she is ready for him. There is a stuggle, and Nara ends up with a gun pointed at her. Devon dosent want to shoot her, he would lose the money, lose everything, and because he hesitates, he is taken out by Blake. I havent yet decided how this will happen, but I want it to be big. **During the story I plan to have Blake give suddle hints of his affection towards Nara.** And in the end, they end up together...of course...happy ending. That is the main idea of my story.
