Why I Write What I Write

Ok so the three genres I love to write are: 1) Murder/Crime 2) Suicide and 3) Depression lol1

Anyway, why do I write what I write?2

1) Murder/Crime - I write murder and crime because I am OBSESSED with crime shows on TV (CSI, Criminal Minds, ect.) and watching these shows puts all these ideas into my head, not ideas on how to be a mass-murderer, but ideas on what aspects of crimes draw in the audience, which ones have an emotional response and stuff like that. This allows me to channel all those ideas into the one story.3

2) Suicide - I write suicide because I myself feel what people willing to take their own lives feel. No I am not suicidal, but I have come close... I know that doesn't seem like a good reason to write about suicide, but as I said before, I love the murder shows and murder books and I can use what I see on those shows and what I know from life to write stories that, I hope, capture the emotional elements of someone willing to end everything.4

3) Depression - I write depression because I am depressed. I am just that little retarded kid that has no friends. So what better way to write a story then to write from experience.5

So yer... And just to let you know, I don't copywrite from those shows, I use some of the elements (ways of torture, methods of murder, ect.) to feed my (very hungry) imagination and produce very odd stories... My parents are worried 'cos I keep writing murder and suicide lol6
