The Different One

The alarm went off and Tyler threw it against the wall. He layed back down, and the the alarm went off again. "Why do you hate me!" He got up and turned it off. Why had his grandparents bought him the clock. It was a ball, that if you threw it, it went on snooze for 5 min. Then it would go off even louder. He hated it with a passion.1

He got up, pulling on a shirt. The pair of pants smelled and looked clean so he pulled them on also. Tyler was small for his age, but that didn't matter. He just was different, he liked to party but his party's were the "bad kind". His friends were kinda like him but he could never relate to any of them. Billy, the oldest of his little group was always trying to be what he was not. He tried to be like Tyler, but in his own special way. He always wore black were Tyler wore whatever he felt that day. He listened to the same kind of music as Tyler, but not as heavy. And he couldn't handle Tyler's life style. Josh, the youngest, on the other hand could. He did his own thing no matter what anybody though. That's one of the reasons Tyler liked him.2

They were the best Tyler though he could have, they would have his back till the end. As he hopped on the bus, he wondered if anyone could relate to him, but he knew there was. When he was young his Mom had married a man that she though she would die with. At first he wasn't that bad, maybe he was, Tyler never saw it. Then he became a heavy drinker, and began to beat his mother. Tyler still to young to do anything, just sat and cried. But at the age of 12, Tyler had enough of it. As his stepfather went into one of his rages, Tyler just snapped. He stood up and put all his power into one punch. The stepfather stumbled back in surprise, Tyler knew it would take more then one punch.3

So he full out tackled him, taking all those years of watching helpless as his mother took the blows and draining it into his blind fury. By the time his mother pulled him off, the fathers face was a bloody pulp. After that it had been a constant war between them, night after night, punch after punch. Finally he had gotten into a habit, come home take or give a beating, eat, do what ever was needed, and go to bed. It was life, but it was his life and he accepted it.4

He hoped off the bus and headed over to the court yard of his high school. That was were his friend hung out untill clash. There was a big circle and Tyler headed over to see what was going on. Of course it was a fight, but Billy was in it. So he watched the fight quietly. Billy seemed to be winning, but then he took a blow to the face and it ended him. He went to the ground, the other was on him in a heartbeat. This is were Tyler came in, He grabed the boy and slug him off of his friend. "Its over, hes done, got it!" Tyler was furious, "when he goes down and does get back up its over." The kid stared at him with a newfound hate. The kid's friends came up behind him and the boy found some more courage. "Its over when I say its over."5

"Don't try to be tough in front of your friends it will just get you in to trouble." Again he let his mouth run a little to wild. The kid didn't even give him a chance to blink. A rain of punches hit Tyler. Of course, he was tough, but only human. He went to the ground and came up dizzy. The kid kept coming, barely given Tyler time to block. Finally, his opening came, the boy swung to far and Tyler hit him with an upercut. The blow came as a surprise to the kid, who though it was all over. Tyler caught him in the face two more times and the kid was done. But his moment of glory was short. Sirens went off and Tyler frown. Now it was over.

What do you think, this is one of my first so tell me anything you feel about it.
