The name is Erik. You're probably wondering by now what's so interesting about me that I have to talk about it. Well, it's a bit of a long story, so make yourself comfortable.1

She looked at me fearfully. To reassure her, without even considering that she might not be bluffing, I said, "I'm not afraid of werewolves. I could only be afraid of losing you."3

And that's how I got here. That's how I died. Oh, but I haven't given up yet. There's always a chance to beat Death itself, even. Whatever it takes for her, because I know she's still somewhere on the surface. I'm not there for her. She's not happy. But I can change that. Just you wait and see.

Wow, he dies and still it's not the end. NICE. Now that is determination. I wonder, did she kill him? Or did something else?

I like this! Something grabbed my attention about it which surprised me as I am not much of a werewolf fan at all! But something about this teaser made me want to read more, so well done and thanks for entering!

First: Thanks, I think they're pretty cool when done right.
Second: I think that if you had the bare-bones plot of this, yes it would be cliche. But there are all those oddities in between that make it more different.
Third: It was inspired by... my actual ex-girlfriend who genuinely and truly believes that she's a werewolf. And CLAIMS that she broke up with me so I wouldn't get hurt. Yes, she's always been a little odd in the head. xD
Fourth: Thank you.

Well, this little thing is a fragment from it, made for a contest. The full version is somewhere among my stories, and I actually posted the sequel to it fairly recently. Go check it out if you're interested.
