Chapter 1:
I must get Kael...3

The Shadow Lands, a desolate place, the stench of rotten flesh consumes this dark hell hole as the Undead Scourge rise up for their master laying waste to their enemies, yet in one of the more quiet parts of this desolate place a male elf, is hiding in the shadows of a tall, crooked, dead tree as a robed figure wearing a face shroud confronts him.4

As her silky auburn hair shines in the moonlight, she draws out her dagger and presses it softly against his throat.5

"Please don't!" He cries as he tries to look beyond the robes that shroud her face.6

"What are you doing here?" She whispers softly in his ear, whilst keeping her dagger to his throat.7

"I...I..." He stutters in fear.8

"You...you...what Veh?" She mimics as she presses the dagger harder on his throat.9

The dagger shines brightly in the moonlight; Veh tries to look at the dagger but Karia just pushes him further against the stones.10

"How...how do you know my name?!" He shrieked almost in tears now due to fear.11

I've been watching you, Veh, selling all the fake collector's items!" She whispered harshly whilst staring into his eyes with anger.12

"Ok, ok...I was looking for Kael." He murmured.13

"Why are you looking for him here in the Shadow Land of all places?!" Karia exclaimed in a confused tone.14

"He gave me fake gold! I sold him my wares here and now...now he is gone!" Veh yelled.15

"Keep your voice down will you?!" She replied as she looked around16

"I...I'm sorry, will you let me go now?" Veh whispered17

"Of course, my dear..." Smirked Karia 18

Karia gently let him go as her dark eyes smiled and twinkled at Veh.19

"Thank you. May I see who you are?" Veh said questioningly20

Karia giggled gently.
"Now now...I can't let you go telling my secrets now can I." Karia chuckled.21

Karia swirled her cloak as she walked away, walking with such mystery...hidden behind her cloak.
"I must get to Kael...even if it kills me." Karia murmured to herself.22

Walking through the Shadow Land, Karia was looking at all the ghostly apparitions around her.
The Shadow Land was a dark gloomy place, the only thing you could smell was the stench of rotting flesh, as the Undead came, seeking the living flesh of their killers.23

Karia, turned back towards where she left Veh, she mounted her horse and galloped away to find Veh again.24

Karia, was born to warlock family. Her family took no care of her and she did whatever she wanted to do. As she grew older she learnt many things that made her what she is now. She takes no prisoners. She will do anything to get what she wants. 25

Usually Karia is always trying to get a lot of information and learning how to survive; Karia is still young yet is a hero in her own right.26


Karia finally found Veh again near Silver Valley...27

"Veh!" She screamed.28

Veh stopped dead in his tracks and turned around to face Karia with a frightened look. He stared at Karia as she came closer to him. Karia dismounted her horse and grasped Leroy's hand, before they knew it they were at a bar in Silver Valley.29

Karia sat at a table with Veh. He was still looking quite shaken and taken aback by the events.30

"Why....what are we here for?" Veh said in a shaky manner.31

"Don't look so scared...I won't harm you...yet." Karia replied with a giggle.32

Veh stared at her scared by the fact she said 'yet'.33

Karia orders two Flagons of Mead, and slams them on the table in front of Veh.
Poor Veh jumped out of his skin!34

“Uh! You gave me a fright there…uhm your name?” Said a shaky Veh.35

“Hmmm…have I not told you before? I do not say my secrets!” Karia giggles slightly whilst still hidden in her robes.36

Why are we here then? Why did you run back after me?” Veh pondered.37

“You know where Kael is, don’t you? Where he hangs around and buys the imported fake things you sell, right?” Karia glared.38

Veh gave Karia a shocked knowing look, by this Karia knew he could help her get to Kael.
