I have always been afraid of telling people how I feel because I am sure that it will be the kiss of death. Only people that I have told that I love seem to be the ones that hurt me the most when they leave. I keep it bottled up tight, walking a tight rope of whether I really love them or I am just so desperate to be loved that I glue myself to people I think I might love. I am afraid of being wrong, and I am afraid of their reactions. 5

But if I really was going to lose my voice I would grab that person that I have been hiding from and just spill it all out, and hope that they can hear me as I want to be heard.

    Hmmmm.....

    Where have I heard this before? but that doesn't detract from the articulacy and eloquence of the piece; I wouldn't have thought you would be in favour of the possessive type of love, but what the hell do I know?

    Being of the "hold lightly, let go with love" school of emotion, I suspect I cannot really identify with this kind of love, largely because it feels like emotional blackmail; what do you think?
