"I will speak through my pen, my hands, and my heart, and I will make the world listen."1
These would be my last spoken words, because I would have work twice as hard to share my stories with the world and those around me, and I'd have to depend on my actions and behaviors to show love to those I care about. Also, someone who has lost their voice becomes a bit of an interest to others; an author who had lost his or her voice midway through their life and wrote about it, or continued to write about issues they thought were important could attract a lot of attention. By losing one's voice, one could theoretically have more of a 'voice' through silence.2
By the way, I like your subtle MCR-inspiration. =)

Lol, I agree wiht this hypothesis. A dumb author really does spite more intrigue. o__o Gets mroe reads anyways. Hm...I can't recall the name of this one author who actually did lose his voice. o__o
Very nice entry.

stay away from the "shalls" a little, sweetheart. I know it's just a contest thing... but it's very unnatural... try to sound like you're actually talking, not reciting the bible. ^_^ you know i love you though! this would be a great direction to head if you were to... i dunno... maybe write about vows of silence? *poke*
