Chapter 1; -|| TERMINUS ||- ; Endless

With dummies scattered about and massive blood spill, many bodies lay on the floor immobile. A figure jumped up, only to spin around and fire many projecticles at nearby enemies. Many tree leaves were torn off of their branch, only to fall slowly in the many piles of blood. A figure came by, only to run through the bloodied leaf, leaving trails of blood about everywhere. Quickly shuriken and kunai pierced a tree as the figure rolled away, only to perform handsigns and place its hands on the ground. Roots from trees spun about rapidly, only to charge at other nearby enemies. 1

"Stop!" a voice had called. "You did the jutsu all wrong!"2

Sighing, the figure stood up and brushed the dust off of itself. "Sorry..."3

"There's no 'sorry'. You should've been paying attention, Primera."4

Primera frowned, only to look up and tie her long, dark red hair into a high ponytail. "OK. Let me try again, Emiri!"5

"Fine," Emiri sighed and crossed her arms, "You can try the jutsu one more time."6

Quickly, Primera performed hand signs in which made the surrounding area pure illusionatory. Many plants and flowers covered the sudden field, as a soft breeze came by to make it look like a green sea. Birds flew about, only to chirp a harmonius melody in unison as more birds flew about, their dark, small beady black eyes staring at Emiri.7

"Ninpou! Bushizakurai no Hana!" Primera, skillfully, performed all hand signs and slammed her hands forcefully onto the ground, only for roots of trees to shoot out of the ground once more. Small petals of flowers fell to the ground and around Emiri, creating a beautiful fragrance fill the atmosphere.8

'She has it so far. Let's see if she can continue it.' Emiri nodded, only to smirk as she dodged the falling petals, as they all soon exploded. She flipped and dodged left and write, only to pass Primera and make her tumble a bit. 9

"Now!" Primera turned around, only to make vines trap Emiri and fling her up into the air, only for many petals to surround her and finally explode. 10

"Well, you got it," said Emiri casually as her substitution faded and she stood next to Primera, who was panting with many scars and bruises on her face, "Took you long enough."11

"Well excuse me! Mastering jutsu takes awhile, OK? I'm not like a Jounnin or anything!" Primera shouted, stomping her foot on the ground repeatedly, her cheeks flushed.12

"I never said you were one," replied Emiri, sighing heavily, "And shouting is not necessary."13

"Whatever," Primera turned around, her long, dark pink hair swaying as she looked away. Her long ponytails glimmered the reflection of the sunlight, only for it to escape in a violet rose color.14

"You need to focus. That's about the tenth time you've messed up a jutsu I have taught you." Emiri put her hand on her hip and stared at Primera. "What's so hard about that?"15

"She sucks is why," said a sudden vocie, as the pink-haired gentleman observed from a tree branch, crossing his legs and tossing a rock in the air.16

"Oh, shut up, Yachiru!" Primera flushed red. "You're no better!"17

"Oh really? It didn't take me forever to pass a stupid exam in the ninja academy," Yachiru smirked.18

"Well, why don't you just go back to Star Training..." Emiri sighed at the two.19

"That'll just kill you and Akihoshi is just... Ew." Yachiru chuckled, coming around Primera and hitting her in the backside.20

Emiri shook her head as her hair covered her crimson eye, and Primera took out her fan and hit Yachiru on the head, making him fall to the ground. "YOU PERVERT!"21

Emiri observed the three and frowned, only to sigh softly. 'I've trained with Primera for a long time... She's come a long way, but still needs practice. And Yachiru, as stupid and foolish as he is... He's not like the average Gennin here. And Reijii...'22

Emiri walked on the sudden dirt road away from the two, only to pass a walking Gennin. She glanced back at him, only for a slight glare to escape her eyes. She walked into the town, putting on a gas mask and disappearing into the haze.23

"So, how was training?" Yachiru said, standing up and dusting his pants off. He picked leaves and debris from his dark pink hair, his bright neon eyes staring at the Gennin.24

"..." 25

"Say something!" Primera begged as she blushed a bit.26

"Reijii, please, talk. You're so quiet all the time..." Yachiru frowned and crossed his arms.27

"Hn." Reijii frowned and looked up at the sky. Crows circled around a certain area, indicating there was a dead creature in the forest.28

"Oh, forget it!" Primera stomped away and ran into the village.29

"Dude, she totally likes you," Yachiru chuckled, biting his thumbnail.30

Reijii simply walked into the forest and disappeared in a cloud of black feathers. Yachiru shrugged, only to run into the village, mumbling, "Heh, emo,"31

"Hoshiko-chaaaaaaaaan!~" shrilled a girly voice.32

"Yes?" Hoshiko stopped drawing and looked up at her friend. "What is it, Airi?" 33

"We need something to dooooo!~ I'm boooooored!~" Airi shook her head and complained.34

"I'm drawing a picture right now, Airi, can't you go outside and train with one of your other friends?" Hoshiko said quietly, only to put some of her pale blue hair behind her ear.35

"Nooooo!~ I don't want to train with Yachiruuuuuu!~" Airi wailed.36

Hoshiko sighed, only to put her sketchbook and pencil away into a drawer, quietly standing up. Her long sleeves covered her hands and she looked at the floor, for her red pants were too long, trailing behind her as she went to the front door. "Well, I can go get him, seeing as he's willing enough to,"37

"Are you so duuuuuuuuuuumb?! He only likes you because you have huge boobs." Airi smirked.38

Hoshiko covered herself. "Pervert..." She looked away, only to open the door and be startled to see Yachiru leaning on the doorway.39

"Yo." Yachiru remarked casually.40

"Y-Yachi-kun, please, don't do that... You know I don't like that..." Hoshiko sighed.41

"Wow, who else is here? Hey, Airi!" He moved through Hoshiko and sat on the couch, tossing a rock in the air. "Thank you for letting me come in, Hoshiko."42

"Um... Y-Yeah... Anytime..." Hoshiko closed the door and looked at Airi and Yachiru.43

"We're boooooored! Yachiru, do you have any ideas?!" Airi cheered.44

Yachiru smirked, only to bite his thumb and stare at Hoshiko, looking her up and down, only to return to Airi and answer, "Yeah, I have a game we can play."45

Hoshiko blushed red, only to open the door and point outwards to Yachiru. "No. Out. Now." Her eyes flashed dangerously.46

"Oh, come on. You know you wanna. Besides," he looked at Airi. "You're bored, aren't you?"47

"Yes, we're bored..." Hoshiko crossed her arms, "But we don't want to-"48

"Have what? Do what?" Airi asked, biting her lip.49

Hoshiko sighed and pulled Yachiru and Airi from her couch, only to open the door and let them out, as she followed them and locked the door.50

"Did you lock yourself out?" Yachiru asked.51

"No," Hoshiko smiled softly, "I have my keys..."52

"Yeah, last time you were locked out of your own house." Yachiru laughed.53

Hoshiko blushed, only to look away. "It was by accident..."54

"How can you accidentally lock yourself out of your own house?" Airi wondered, curling her hair with her finger. "It's very unlikely, unless you are in a rush of some sort. To be honest, I really didn't think that of all the people, Hoshiko would lock herself inside. She's always in her house drawing something or staring at her ceiling, as do most kids do nowadays. I wonder why the sky is blue. It's always been there. I wonder who made it? Why are we here? How came we can't live somewhere else? I really don't understand why he had to end up here. Out of all the places out there, how come we had to end up on this land? My favorite color is red. What's yours, Yachiru? Hoshiko? I find pink to be very girlish and gross, just like pocky. I hate pocky. It's so disgusting." 55

Hoshiko blinked. Yachiru blinked as well, frowning a bit.56

"OK..." Yachiru shook his head and looked away. "You talk too much..."57

Airi cheeks flushed and turned away. "Sorry, Pervo."58

Yachiru chuckled. "Heh."59

~*~ Hoshiko's P.O.V~*~60

I looked back at Yachiru, only to shake my head. Airi talks so much. I can hardly anything she says. But I just kept nodding my head as if I understood everything. Slowly I crept away, only to walk to a store where I saw many of my friends, as usual.61

"Hello, Hoshiko." a voice called, only to be my friend Miharu. "How's it going?"62

"Good," I replied, picking up a toy rabbit, "It's going good. Very slow, as I am covering some missions."63

"Missions?" Miharu asked, walking towards me while smiling, "What kind of missions?"64

"You know...Missions." I choked a bit.65

"OK." He took the rabbit from me an examined it. "What brings you here?" 66

"I'm just here to buy some things," I sighed softly, "Is that so bad?" 67

I sat in a small chair, only to close my eyes and think for a bit. I've lived here all my life. But I feel as if something is missing... That there is something I need to know. I just don't know what... What is it? What to I need to find out? ... I can't remember anything... All I know is...68

"Hoshiko!" Miharu shook me a bit, blinking. "You OK?"69

"Y-Yeah..." I stared at him and blushed a bit.70

"You're acting weird," Miharu crossed his arms, "Are you sure you're OK? Did you get enough sleep last night?"71

I nodded. I smiled at Miharu as I blushed abit, for Miharu was like an older brother to me, always caring and watching out for me.72

"OK, well, I have to go. I'll see you later." Miharu left the store and glanced at me, only to smile brightly and leave.73

I looked about, as the shop owner stared at me darkly. "Are you going to buy something or not?!"74

I gulped, only to start to leave the store.75

"I was just kidding, Tsukoya, you know I'm not like that." The shop owner said bluntly.76

"Oh, well, OK..." I frowned. "I have to go, anyway... I'll see you later."77

The shop keeper nodded, only to take out a broom and sweep the shop in certain areas slowly.78

As I looked up, I noticed Airi and Primera walking towards me quickly. I waved and quietly said "Hello", as they pulled me by the arms. I blinked, only to be given what-the-hell-is-going-on-here looks I was receiving from common shinobi walking about. I pulled away a bit, only for Airi to turn around and stick her tongue out at me. 79

"Listen, sweetie, the elders wanna talk to ya," She winked.80

I shook my head. "Why?" I asked curiously.81

"Transfer," Primera's voice was low and very smooth.82

Crows circled above in the sky, screeching an irresistable cry throughout the woods. With the sky a bright blue, the sun glimmered on all of life about in the large forest. A soft breeze quickly made small leaves and petals flow in the wind, only to surround certain objects, eventually to land. small butterflies landed ontop of flowers as one was instantly killed when shuriken had struck the flower, cutting the butterfly and flower in half.85

"*bunny*!" Thought a shinobi as she skillfully performed a blackflip to dodge the shuriken, followed by many other ninja projecticles. A very light amount of her hair was cut to the extreme speed of the projecticle as it barely pierced her and in replacement a tree.86

"1994... 1995... 1996... 1997...1998..."87

A figure looked over her shoulder, only to frown and stared at the young shinobi. She put some of her short brown hair behind her ear and use a kunai to cut the rope that was entangling her suddenly.88

"I think that's enough training, Lee," the figure said sweetly.89

"Yeah, listen to Kaori, Lee," another said.90

"No! If I do not perform 2000 push ups then it is 4000 sit-ups, if not 4000 sit-ups then-" Lee was stopped when he collapsed of comeplete and utter exhaustion.91

"Lee!" Kaori rushed over and knelt down to Lee. She stared at him for a moment, only for him to give her a thumbs up. She sighed.92

"You need to stop over-exerting yourself," Kaori suggested, helping him stand up. "You're stong enough as it is. Why won't you just rest on your days off?"93

Lee shot up and tears of joy streamed down his face. "I must train! Just like Gai-sensei!"94

Tenten sighed and put her remaining ninja tools in their pouch. She stared at Kaori, then Kaori looked at Lee, who was too busy attempting to train again as Kaori restrained him.95

Tenten looked over at her other member, who then mumbled, "Hmph," under his breath.96

"You know, Neji, you could-" Tenten stopped when she noticed Gai sensei was right in front of her.97

"WHY aren't you training?" Gai asked, laughing.98

Tenten backed away. "Uh..."99

Kaori stood in front of Gai. "We've been training FOREVER! Can we GO now?!"100

Gai thought for a moment, only to smirk. "Well, you all have been working your hardest. I guess I could let you go,"101

Kaori and Tenten sighed in relief. Neji shook his head and looked up at the sky.102

"Lee! Let us do 500 laps around the village!" Gai sensei performed the infamous "Gai Pose", only for Kaori and Tenten to twitch, as well as Neji, and move away.103

Lee's eyes lit with fire and determination. "Yes, Gai-sensei!"104

"Oh boy," Kaori sighed, only to slap her forehead with her palm.105
