-Appearance: Shantin is tall, thin, flowing white hair that is beaded and leather-bound. Has bright silver and blue eyes and long, straight features. He is more pretty than handsome, and cares for his body with obsession. He usually wears white, unless fighting, and goes for comfort, loose pants, button-up shirts. Silks, cotton. Nothing too fitted or expensive. 5

-Any decoration? Body art..etc: Has black swirling tattoo’s on his upper back and shoulders. He has each ear pierced up to the cartilage (seven times) and loves to wear shining silver. Has stud through brow and a spike through his lower lip. Wears many rings and bracelets and wears the pendant of the Sanyurs on a chain around his neck. 6

-Temperament: Deceitful. 7

-Any family issues that affect his/her personality? His father was brutal with him as a child, chastising him for his sexual preference. Shantin killed his father. 9

-Is this character liked or disliked? Liked for the most part by two other Inflictors, but is revered by the Sanyurs that he hunts and uses for his own pleasures. 11

-Sexual Orientation: Gay. Always has someone in his bed, be it a society Sanyur or a Slaved Sanyur. 13

Music, décor, food choice…just describe who your character is as a person here…haha..think of it as a singles profile…: Shantin loves Alternative Rock music, White Décor and eats mainly fruits and breads. He watches his figure with obsession, so doesn’t eat much at all. For his entertainment, he enjoys watching others perform sexual acts, whether on themselves or on another. He sometimes watches Lanier and Desmond and finds it to be almost an addiction to watch. A voyeur at heart. Stems from his father’s disapproval of him. He sometimes feels dirty when actually having sex with a male. 20

-Does this character have any vices? Any habit? Being a peeper is an addiction for him. 21

-What is their occupation: Inflictor for the Director …one of three. 23

-What role do they play in your story? (Make this detailed, under 1000 words) Shantin is the third Inflictor who follows behind Lanier and Desmond. His role in Sought is his sudden obsession with Lanier and his attempted blackmail. His violence against Satyr also comes into play but Shantin is Shantin and in Sought, he isn’t highlighted. Will be in later stories 26

-How did you come up with this character…meaning, what were you doing and what was the thought process behind them? Actually, His appearance came from a picture, many of his attributes came from someone I love and his voyeur nature came from something taboo. 27

-Are there any parts to this character that you ‘borrowed’ from yourself? Not really. 28

Sought is going to be the story of Satyr and Jace. Satyr is a Sanyur (fairy-like creatures who move among humans- and follow a Director and live underground). They hold hypnotic qualities and can bring pleasure and pure ease to a human with just a simple touch, but are usually held captive to Lisige, the Director, and are hunted by his three Inflictors. 30

Lisige takes interest in Satyr, a young Sanyur who recently lost his parents to illness, and sends out his Inflictors to bring him to his bastion. Satyr, not wanting to be Lisige slave, runs off (only to be found and beaten by the Inflictors). He still gets away and ends up collapsing in a park, only to be found by Jace, a lonely and semi-nerdy computer tech. 31

In a sub-story, Lanier realizes he could get into another guy and when he does, Shantin goes for blackmail, claiming he is deceiving the Director. 32
