Short Bio's-19

Anthony Freese: 20

Anthony is one of Dima's friends, he works in a coffee shop in downtown Portland. Anthony is quite a comedian and has no problem meeting new people. He is generally friendly and inviting to everyone, Dima happens to be one of his best friends. 21

However, since it is hard for Dima to keep friends for too long Anthony always feels like he's being pushed away by Dima. 22

Anthony comes from a middle class family, he wants to have things that other guys have. A Cool Car, super nice tv and sound system- things he currently couldn't afford. 23

He's working his way through college to be a Graphic Designer, he and Dima share quite a few ideas now and again. In fact, Art is a topic that circles them frequently. 24

Marisa Palo: 25

Marisa is Dima's Best friend, a girlfriend she can confide in and escape from when "Manhood" becomes far too frequent around her apartment. Marisa comes from Spanish descent, her mother who does not speak english came from Spain and married an American man in Portland. Marisa's parents no longer live in Portland but down in The Dalles. Marisa does not get to visit them often but she finds her friends keep her company enough. Family calls keep her up to speed with family problems, she still talks about her mother though. 26

Marisa currently does not work, she was fired from her last job as a waitress. (Her manners were less than cordial) Marisa has spanish in her, her temper is quite quick, but she's also quick to forgive. 27

Marisa enjoys the simple things in life, she is working towards being a Journalist and finds herself butting in with other people's business. She's got the talent and the heart for Journalism. 28

Marisa usually frequents her conversations with stories and pieces floating around in her head. In fact, some of them can't help but spill out into reality. 29

Troy Jameson: 31

Troy, the Jock of the group- Football star in highschool, Honor student and now stuck studying something he isn't proud of. Troy had hopes and dreams of becoming a College Football legend. His last year of high school ruined that when a quarterback from the opposing team crushed his shoulder with his 200 pounds of man. The result was a broken collar bone and dislocated shoulder, the injury caused his famous end goal throw to turn into a run-of-the-mill touchdown toss. 32

Though unhappy and unable to play he still finds watching the sport soothing and can't help but talk on and on about the sport. If studying to be a chef isn't bad enough for Troy, his parents divorce certainly sweetened the deal. 33

Troy lives in a depressed state and finds conversation between him and his friends, containing very few words, to be quite boring. Having a rich businessman as a father and a high end lawyer for a mom, he has no need for things in life. After all, he has everything. 34

Importance-36

Dima is half Vampire, having friends is tough because she doesn't have them for very long. Even while she's with them her hunger can explode at any moment. She has the ability to be in shallow light, but the rays of exploding sunlight bother her immensely. She won't burn up into ash, but she can't explain away her sensitivity to the sunlight. She often leaves her friends confused and even sometimes hurt with her often immediate departures. 37

Each of her friends plays an important role, they make her feel human even though she isn't. Living day to day seems less pressuring with her best friends alongside her. 38

Marisa probably plays the most important role of all, as DIma's best friend and lifeline during tough times, Marisa turns out to be the one helping Dima with her "Special" problems. 39

Troy is Dima's social look alike, Dima connects with him because she knows how he feels. Her "Uniqueness" might save his life one day. 40

As for Anthony, his spirit will save Dima in the end- he has a warriors spirit and during the coming chaos who knows. 41

Along with the three characters there is one more: he is a business partner and one of the only people who knows she is half vampire- other than the other vampires of "Meat Street" 42

Importance: Ethan has all the connections with the Starlight Vampires and the Haze Vampires. (Starlight GOOD- Haze- BAD) 48

Ethan tells Dima which human is up for the next grab by the Haze Vampires, Dima saves human lives in a meager attempt to calm her own guilt. Ethan has saved her more times than she dares to count. 49

He studied as a med student and quit his job after becoming a resident. He runs Dima's Underground Club, something Anthony, Troy and Marisa have NO knowledge of. (It is very hard for Dima to keep her two lives seperate, and keeping her secrets is even harder. Especially with Marisa.) 50
