Claire was average in everyway expect for her eyes, they stood out against her creamy lightly freckled skin. She didn’t like the freckles they made her look to much like her father, when she would have preferred to look like her mother. Her eyes are almost squinty with arched eyebrows above. Her nose is thin and slightly upturned with a thicker splattering of freckles across it then any other part of her body. Her hair is long reaching nearly her mid back with a slight wave when wet otherwise it is usually arrow straight. She has a preference to keep it up in a ponytail high on her head to keep it out of her face. Her hands are small with long fingers much like those one would expect to see on a pianist, her nails short and usually unpainted. She is thin but not enough to cause strangers to worry, she is thin but not toned preferring not to exercise if it is not necessary. 13

Background- Born in France she moved to The United States with her family at the age of 7. This fact makes her bilingual with a bit of a French accent still present in her voice even though she lived in France for only 7 years. Her parents split when she was ten her father running off with an woman he met at his job as an insurance agent. Her mother was heartbroken and at the time Claire was mostly in charge of taking care of her younger sister Aimee who was only 2 and a half a the time of the split. This fact made her grow up quick and becoming more responsible then most children her age. She kept her fathers last name though preferring it over her mothers last name of Laurent.14
