This Book is Not About Mermaids: In Three Sentences

Habitual-liar and former runaway bride Tammy Joyce and her new "trust-fund baby" fiance, George, have just discovered that she may, in fact, be pregnant, which could actually work to their advantage as his old-money family is much more willing to approve of a "knocked up" bride over one who is just good-old-fashioned poor. But then Tammy isn't pregnant, after all, and that could open up a world of trouble... unless George and she can keep up the charade, that is. Now, Tammy and George are headed to the hometown she hasn't returned to in five years (since the collapse of her last wedding, in fact) for the most opulent shot-gun wedding in history and more than one reunion Tammy would prefer to avoid.

Author notes

My novel isn't on-line yet because I have to go back and rewrite all of it, but when I start putting it up I'll be sure to spread the word around. : ) Parts of it are linked to on this page: My Archive on LJ which is the archive post I made for it over the summer when I was posting pieces of it on livejournal. Since I'm no longer writing it in first person, though, those parts are mostly void.

Ooooh, this is definitely intriguing. BUT, like I said, three sentences does not include run-ons. The first sentence is a bit too long for my liking, and gets a bit awkward.

Amusing story and one I'd love to read, however.
