He Can't Die (3)

Taylor is seven months along and at her bachlorette party.  All her friends are there,including her best friend, Michelle.1

Taylor is on the couch and is getting gifts from all her friends.  She can't wait to become Mrs. John Cena.  All of her dreams are coming true.  She still has that distinct feeling in the back of her mind that she is betraying Shawn. She shakes the feelings off as they come.  She is not going to let anything get in the way of her special day.2

Taylor hears the phone ring and since John insisted that the phone be by their bed, she had to get up and get it.  For being seven months along, it was getting harder and harder to get up.  3

Once she reaches the bedroom, the phone stops ringing.  Of course, she thinks.  She looks down to get back up and notices a sheet of paper sticking out of the nightstand.  Curious, she opens the nightstand and finds out what it is.  It is a paper from John's diary.  It has something about Michelle on it.  She knows that she is not supposed to read someone else personal things but maybe this time would be an exception.  She lies back on the bed and begins to read.4

Dear Diary,                  Wed Oct 75

Well today the unspeakable happened. 6

Shawn has been dead for a year today &7

Michelle came to me and told me she 8

knows what happened to Shawn!  I was s-9

hocked to say the least.  I asked her 10

to tell me but she said I had to keep11

it totally secret.  I promised her I 12

would.  SHE KILLED SHAWN! She told me13

that it hurt her when Taylor and Shawn14

started dating.  So if she couldn't15

have Shawn then she would make sure no16

one else could either.  I can't tell17

Taylor because it would kill her but 18

if she finds out that I know, she will 19

most likely kill me!  I don't know what20

to do diary!  Help!21

*JOHN*22

Taylor's eyes well with tears as she reads this.  So he knew.  But he didn't tell her to protect her from her best friend.  How could Michelle do this? She was supposed to be her best friend in the world?  Why? Because she couldn't have Shawn? Taylor's world was crashing down around her and she was powerless to stop it.  23

Taylor walks out into the living room and tells everyone that she is not feeling good and that they should all go home.  Michelle asks if she wants her to stay and Taylor says no.  Michelle leaves apprehensively, but nonetheless.  Taylor calls John immediately.  24

John rushes home to find out what's wrong.  Taylor proceeds to tell him what she found out.  John is in shock.  He knew that he should have told her when he had the chance.  He just didn't want to lose her. 25

"Baby, I know what happened was tragic to you and me, but honey you got to move on. You are about to give birth to a beautiful child and you have a man that loves you with all his heart right in front of you.   I know that it's hard to move on, but baby, you got to.  Your never gonna be okay if you keep dwelling on him.  He will always have a special place in your heart, but you need to make some room for other people who love you too, like me!"  he says as he takes her face into his hands and gives her a kiss26

The doorbell rings and Taylor gets up to get it.  She opens the door and right in front of her is Michelle.  27

"I know you know the truth now." Michelle says " I couldn't take it anymore always watching you and Shawn cuddle and everything.  It was sickening.  I never found that love.  I thought that I had with Bret but it was just a fantasy that unfortunately became a reality.  I was so much in love with Shawn that I wrote him letters saying I wanted to be with him and that you were wrong for him.  He never wrote back obviously.  He came to my house that night and told me to stop harassing him and that he was with you and that he loved you.  He turned his back and walked out of my house.  I thought that if I couldn't have him, then neither would you. So I grab a gun and shot him in the back of the head.  Once I realized what I had done, I froze.  I then rushed him to the hospital and said I didn't know him.  But the really sad thing is, now that you know, I can't let you live.  I loved you Taylor like a sister.  But I guess this relationship is over" Michelle says as she points the gun at Taylor. 28

Taylor's eyes plead and beg her not to do it but Michelle is thinking something else.  She pulls the trigger and you hear a shot.  29

Taylor's eyes are open and she looks around.  I'm not dead, she thinks. 30

Well if I'm not then who is? 31

She looks around and see's Michelle lying in a pool of blood.  Well then that means that....she turns to her right.  Lying right next to her with his own pool of blood is John.32

She rushes him to the hospital and into the ER.  The doctor's take her aside and ask her to explain what happened. She proceeds to tell them what happened when she hears John moan.  She rushes over to him.33

"John you can't die.  I love you.  You can't leave me and our child.  You just can't.  If you die, I'll kill you!" she says with tears staining her cheeks. 34

"Baby, I don't want to leave you, but the angels are calling me home.  I just want you to do one thing for me before I leave.  Always remind my child that he had a daddy that loved his mommy till death did they part" he says as he motions for her to kiss him.  35

Taylor lays a kiss on John's lips as she is crying.  After the kiss John breathed his last breath.36

***6 weeks later***37

Taylor gives birth to a healthy 7 lb 1 oz. baby boy.  She named him Johnathan Felix, after his father for she will always let her baby know of the man who helped her overcome death and breathed life into her!38
