"Money Makes The Man" "The Love Of Money is the root of all evil".1

These two sayings are both proverbs, or brief, memorable sayings that focus on a single topic. Which proverb do you most agree with and why? Write what you think the proverbs are and include examples.2

I think "the love of money is the root of all evil" is better because money doesn't make the man, anything can make a man. Love, sleep, food, anything! I think the saying I chose is true. For example, the movies and cartoons show that richer people are usually more snotty and it's true. They usually don't help other people in need.3

In America money makes the man, or so we're told. In our country we're measured by the lastest fashion or the newest car. People are trained accidently and sometimes on purpose to see people for their material possesions and not their character. All of these things lead to greed and such "The Love of Money is the root of all evil" I'd explain further but have no more time.

"Psychopath" is a song, or may become one if Wolfy finishes it. Thanks for commenting.

I don't think money is the root of all evil, but a lot of it. Paul said, "The god of this world is money." I think that's the truest quote about money, I know.
