A pilgrimage is described as a journey to a shrine or holy place. Where would you visit and why? Who would you take and why? Describe the experience.1

I would go to either go to Gettysburg or Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and visit the USS Arizona Memorial. If I went to Gettysburg, I would take my grandfather because he's obsessed with the Civil War and Gettysburg. He collects Gettysburg lithographs and daggers.2

If I was going to Pearl Harbor to visit the USS Arizona Memorial, I would take my father is he was still alive. My father wanted to visit it, but he never had the chance. I would visit there because it's part of history and it was a devastating time for America.3
