The Q and A

Walking into th room the first thing I notice is the typewriter in the corner a old model vintage 50's it must have been, record playing in the other room I can tell by the sound quality. 1

"Any one here?"2

I call out the note on the door said come right in so I did but now I face any empty room. 3

Al of a sudden the music stopped replaced with some jazz older jazz noneof the new cafe shit you always here....4

I jumped as the man commng out of the back roomsaid this, Tall brown hair dark eyes with a sort of far away painful look to them like some one who had seen to much in there life. 6

"Mr Donaldson it's an honor"7

"it's an honor to be me yes"8

He laughs a little sits down ina ragged arm chair and pulls out a black Cig and lights it the smell of tobaco and clove fill the room he exhals slowly. Looking at him there is almost somthing sad about him like he had failled at everything and was alone in life. I thought of F. Scott Fitzgerald looking a him. 9

"Stop staring boy and start asking"10

"Y-yes of course" I stammered. 11

What started you writing?12

Bordom nothing else I was sitting in my room in winter one night the power was out and I had nothing to do so with a Hurican lamp I sat up all night writeing chain smoking joints and smokes. 13

What is your main inspiration? 14

Look around and there you have it..Still dont get it?...It's life things I have seen things I have done or seen done. Everthing is life o why not write about no maer how blunt or how horribal. 15

Is there a routine you have in writing? Meaning time of day? Cups of coffee? 16

No not really when I write i chain smoke a lot when it gets late I drink coffee as thick mud just the way I like. 17

What is your primary Genre?18

I have none I write what ever comes to mind, the clostest thing to one you could say is Beat generation. Those crazy cats lke Kerouac and cassady Ginsberg and burrours to make the most known. 19

How do you plan your characters, meaning are they a small part of you? Something you saw in someone else? 20

The main character is always me or some part of I the others could be freinds or some guy I met ten years ago smoking pot in a sweat lodge. All my characters are real people. 21

What is your thought pattern on coming up with names for your characters? No never just random ones come to mind at random times.22

Do you outline or just go with the flow and leave the proofing to later? I go with the flow in true Beat style. 23

Do you proof alone or allow someone else to assist in this?24

I always do everthing alone when it comes to writeing. 25

do you have a good luck charm?...no I dont I dont belive in luck just fate. 26

With this my questons are done as I was walking to y car I stopped dead. It came to me what he said about life...It came to me I always looked ahead to things or thought back never liveing in the now. At this thought I looked around the world seemed greater now mor interesting. I was awake fo the first time.
