there once was a little boy whose name was Ryan. At school, he was very shy and lonely. He barely spoke to anyone and always wore a cap that he had gotten from his grandmother. He was always teased by the bullies at school, and to get away from the world sometimes, he would look out his bedrooom window. one day, Ryan went to school and a girl asked him if he wanted to come over to her house to play. of course, Ryan said yes, he wanted to make a new friend. so, ryan went, and it turned out the girl's name was jasmine. They became very good friends, but then came the girl's birthday party. Ryan became jealous because the girl got a little toy elephant that was very life like. It sung a song and danced to the tune. Ryan prayed every night that he could get a toy elephant just like it for his birthday, but he never did. He spent hours crying about it. Then, the day after Ryan's birthday when he still didn't have the elephant, Jasmine came over with a silver wrapped package. She said to him" Please open it, Ryan, you will love it." So, Ryan tore open the package, and inside it was the elephant. Jasmine smiled and asked, " Do you like it, Ryan?" Of course he did, but then he realized something. " jasmine, I do like the gift, but the most important thing is I have a friend as good as you." Then, they gave each other a hug and a kiss on the cheek and Ryan learned that friendship is the best gift of all.

I thought this was a lovely little story. I think we've all gone through the wishing we had that toy stage at some time in our lives. I liked the ending too. Good luck with the contest. -
So sweet, I think you hve to capital the j in Jasmine. A shy boy but with a kind heart. Cool. Don't know why Jasmine was the boy's friend. Wana see the picture of the elephant and the boy. In 'he had gotten' I think it would sound better in: he had got. This story is so cute. Wish you good luck in the contest.
