Patrick is sitting in his wheelchair looking up at the clear night sky asking himself the same old question, why? Confused, he bows his head and closes his eyes. "God why? I've been a good Christian. I've always had faith in your plan. Somehow even though I'm stuck in this wheelchair I just know things will get worse before they get better. Please just give me the strength to keep going like you have time and time before. In your sons name I pray amen."1
His uncle Eddie comes from inside and sits on the bench near him.2
"Pinpricks, that is what the stars look like tonight." Patrick says.3
"Yes they do." his uncle replies. "I just finished up with your room, your bed is ready for you bud."4
"Thanks uncle Eddie, I sure do appreciate you letting me stay with you this summer. I won't let you down at the pharmacy."5
"Well of course that is exactly why I hired you!" Eddie laughs. 6
