When I was young, Easter meant egg hunts & baskets filled with candy. I remember spending time with my dad hiding eggs for my brothers and sisters to hunt. The beautiful colors bright pastels, looked like a raindow. It was a wonderful bonding experience. But it did not prepare me for the true meaning of Easter. The wonderful gift that had been offered by the sacrifice of God's only Son, who through nothing he had done wrong, was crucified to pay the price for mine and your sins. And all that we needed to do so receive such a marvelous gift was to reach out and accept it. No charge, no fee just a wonderful blood purchased gift to give each of us life eternal. This is what Easter means to me.1

How very interesting. I am not a religious person, in fact, I am an atheist, but I make extensive research into religions of all sorts, and you have portrayed the story in the Bible quite well here. It was well written, and the excerpt at the top adds to the overall effect. Good job! NOt only do you manage to tell the story, you manage to entwine it together with a personal experience and love. Very nice!
