Great Minds...

A) Richard Lederer1

Most stories I write are a 1st person narrative that addresses the audience in some way. I HATE reading meta-fiction, so I decided that if I try to write it then maybe I'll learn to appreciate it more. 2

My best story ever was a fanfiction that explored the hidden lore of a character who was exiled. How he came to be a ruler of an exotic and foreign culture and returned to wage war upon those who casted him out. 3

C)Song: Hallelujah by either Jeff Buckly, Rufus Wrainwright, or Kate Vogele. Not necessarily in that order. 4

E)All of my most respected characters of literature share a common trait: their actions and thoughts are inscrutable by the audience and other characters. It's not that they are too random, or too complex, but rather that they are impossible to figure out what their true purpose and feeling, because they are strong. Stronger than you. 5

F) Name: Doctor Hannibal Lector. Occupation: Medical Doctor, Clinical psychologist; fugitive.

cannibal by hobby might also be pertinent information. so how do you narrate first person while remaining mysterious, inscrutable, and standoffish? but that is beside the point. i need a genre. like romance or sci fi or mystery. something like that.

p.s. i love that song too
