Joseph's adventure

My name is joseph and I   came from a large family. I take care of the sheep and goats with my brothers. I seem like an ordinary boy growing up in the land of Canaan. I had an adventure of a life time once , fild with kings, dreams brothers and a missing cup. well it seems I better just get on with the tail. This hole thing started because one day my father made me a long robe with full sleeves. I knew my father, Jacob loved me best because he had me when he was old. I never knew why that made me his favorite but some how I was . I knew this made my brothers jealous and this robe rubbed it in their faces that Jacob loved me more then them. They hated me for that so much that they would not speek to me in a nice manner.
This one night I had this dream and I thought it was cool so the next day I decided to tell my brothers. I said listen to the dream I had "We were all in the feild tying up sheaves of wheat , my sheaf got up and stood up stright. Yours formed a cercle around mine and bowed down to it." after one look at my brothers I knew they hated me even more.
"Do you think you are going to be a king and rule over us?' they asked me .
Then I had a nother dream and I told my brothers. "I had another dream, in which I saw the sun, the moon and eleven stars bowing down to me I don't know why I told them I guess I was so happy about it I had to tell someone. My brothers did not seem to care so I told my father. I thought he might care. He scolded me: "What kind of dream is that? Do you think that your mother , your brothers and I are going to come and bow down to you?"
Now one day when my brothers had gone to Shechem to take care of father's flock, father said to me " I want you to go to Shechem where your brothers are taking care of the flock."
"I am ready I told him
Father said to me " Go and see if your brothers are safe and if the flock is all right; then come back and tell me." So he sent me on my way from heborn valley. I arrived at Shechem and I was wandering around in the country when a man asked me " what are you looking for?"
" I am looking for my brothers who are taking care of their flock," I answered. Can you tell me where they are?"
The man said to me "they have already left. I heard them say that they were going to Dothan"
So I went to Dothan to find my brothers. Just as the man had said I found my brothers. as I came up to my brothers they ripped off my robe with full sleeves then they took me and flung me into a well that was dry. I did not understand why they would do this to me. I was shure I was going to die there in the dry well. wehile I was in the well I over heard Judha say " Lets sell him to these Ishmaelites. Then we won't have to hurt him; after all he is our brother; our own flesh and blood." I could not beleave they were planning to harm me, how could they do a thing like that to their own flesh and blood, did they hate me that much. I prased God for Judha for he had spared my life; by deciding to sell me to the Ishmaelites. They pulled me from the well and sold me for twenty peaces of silvier.
Now the Ishmaelites took me to Egypt and sold me to a man named Potiphar who was one of the kings officers, who was captain of the palace guard. the Lord was with me and made me sucessful. I lived in my master's house, who saw that the Lord with with me and made me sucessful in every thing I did. Potiphar was pleased with me and made me his personal servent; so he put me in charage of his house and everything he owned . Because of me the Lord blessed the household of the egyptian and everything that he had in his house and in his fields. Potiphar left everything he had into my care. He did not have to concern himself with anything except the food he ate.
Now I was a well built and good looking young man and after a while my masters wife started asking me to go to bed with her. I refused of course saying "Look, my master does not have to concern himself with anything in the house, because I am here. He has put me in charge of everything he has. I have as much authority in this house as he has, and he has not kept back anything from me except you. How then could I do such immorial thing and sin against God?" she kept asking me day after day but I would not go to bed with her.
But one day I went into the house to do my work , none of the house servents were there. she caught me by my robe and said "Come to bed with me" but I exscaped and ran outside leaving my robe in her hand. I am not shure what she told my master about me, but he was furious and he had me arrested and put in the prision where the kings prisoners were kept and there I stayed . But the Lord was with me and blessed me , so that the jailer was pleased with me. he put me in charage of all the other prisoners1

You have a good start here. I suggest you check your spelling, punctuation, and capital letters at the beginning of sentences and city names. I can help you if you like. I'm not one to leave a story with errors that could be fixed. If you'll let me, I can show you the corrections to be made.

You must know that Joseph was not only the favored son because he was born to Jacob in old age, but because he was Rachel's, his favored wife, son. It is written that his appearance is like that of Rachel.

You can also go through some of Joseph's emotions in this story. Now, from what I understand, he was very self-assured, even perhaps a bit egotistical. He bragged about his dreams to his already jealous brothers. The emotions he felt when Mrs. Potiphar first hit on him was not a direct cold shoulder. In the Hebrew, the text is read very slowly because he contemplated it before saying no.

Thank you for entering my contest. Let me know if you would like help with some of the grammatical and spelling issues. God speed to you in the contest. I don't believe in luck.

    God bless you.
