There comes a time
In every mothers life
When she gives life
To a child
And for that child, a time
When she will say “No more, Mommy,
I’m a big girl now.”
And then this big girl spreads
Her wings and flies free to
Become a young woman
A young woman, who makes
Her own choices and does
What she wants with her life
There comes a time in that young woman’s life
When she will say “I love you.”
And giver herself to a man
Only to be left broken and alone
There comes a time when this middle aged woman
Will find true love and finally settle down
To a life that makes her truly happy
Time will come when time is ending
For this old woman
But she has one last thing
She wishes to say
“There comes a time…”
